Campbell Hausfeld TL1120 Mini Die Grinder

Campbell Hausfeld TL1120 Mini Die Grinder
  • Patented lightweight engineered composite housing reduces fatigue and protects against cold temperatures.
  • Ideal for use on a variety of materials including wood and medal
  • Also use on plastic and ceramic
  • Standard 1/4 inch collet for all tupes of accessories
  • Exhaust diffuser for quiet operation

The tool works great! Only downfall is the plastic housing. The threads strip out over a while. I suggest using a swivel fitting the help.

I bought this to sand and sculpt wood. With a 36 grit disk on it, this tool eats wood quickly. I used it to remove a quarter inch of wood over a 3 x 5 inch area. It took only a few minutes to complete the task. Much faster than a rotary grinder that I have, but it's not for delicate work. My only complaint is that it isn't variable speed. Hmm, I have an update since I wrote this. I found that the tool trigger can be used to vary the speed, but you only have about 1/8" of pull from off to full speed. This makes it much more versatile, but requires a delicate touch.

It's a great tool for sculpting wood.
