RapidAir Compressed Air Master Kit

RapidAir Compressed Air Master Kit
  • Compressor Manifold Kit
  • Two Air Outlet Kits
  • 100' of 1/2'' Nylon Tubing
  • Tubing Cutter

I use this system in my garage woodshop. It's a nice and simple way of distributing compressed air.

I struggled a little with setting it up, but that's mostly due to the fact that I was using the wrong kind of Teflon tape and getting leaks. Once I switched to the Teflon tape rated for gas, it worked great and lead-free.

I had to buy a bunch of extra fittings to make everything work in my shop, but now that it's set up, I'm very happy with it.

What a waste of money. The outlets are great and built solid. I set the system up secured it everywhere and it looks great took several hours for a 3 car shop. Most of that time spent stopping leak after leak. Finally all leaks gone was really happy for about a week now at least once a week another leak springs up I have owned this for more than enough time to be critical. I have used pvc and copper in other shops for decades without a single leak. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND $.

Air line is good, some of the accessories are good but forget about using the quick disconnect connectors. They all leaked air around the o-ring inside the quick disconnect. More Chinese Garbage.

So I went to Home Depot and bought some of their quick disconnect adapters and tried them. Surprise, these connectors all leaked too. More Chinese Garbage.

At least I could return the Home Depot junk but just discarded the ones that came with the kit.

Can't find quality so forget about using them and connect directly to the air line without using quick disconnect.

I used this to route compressed air through my car and a half garage, allowing the use of a single 25' coil cord to supply compressed air anywhere I need. Be sure to get the lines fully seated into the fittings! I had a couple of leaks initially, due to the line 'feeling' seated... they were not... my fault. Plenty of line included, but I'd recommend ordering extra "P" clamps if securing to walls and ceiling as I did. No more tripping over air lines!
