After purchased and installed by own in my father house, everyone happy and enjoy it, maybe we are luck get a good not like other buyers issued. anyhow, I give high recomm due to I got a good one without trouble. may buy few more for my own house.
Works great and is cooling my entire 900 sq ft basement. It fit in my basement window perfectly. Seems to be a better quality than other AC units we've used.

I'm own the previous model to this one and it has worked like a charm. Therefore, I decided to get this one as a gift to a friend. She tells me that she has to power it off because of how cold it can get, which was music to my ears. Another great Sharp product!

The product arrived promptly. Setup was not too difficult. The fan in the unit didn't work. The good news is that I had no problem returning the air conditioner to Amazon. All I had to do was follow the instructions for returns and the shipper arrived next day to pick up the product. I received credit for the return within the same week. At the same time of the return I purchased from Amazon a similar air conditioner from another manufacturer. It's setup was simple and the machine works fine.
While the Sharp air conditioner was a dud, (I'm sure they're not all that way) I was impressed at how simple Amazon has made the remedy. So the experience was a negative for Sharp but a positive for buying from Amazon.
