We use these oilers for all of our pheumatic tools; air nailers, chisels, impact wrenches and air operated drills.

Great Product.Easy installation. I would forget to oil my tools every time I used them. With this self oiler ,I just check the glass bowl to make sure it's full of oil and I'm good to go. When filling just remember to unscrew the bowl slightly so you break the air pocket.

I was dissapointed with this thing.

Its very hard to fill it with oil without spilling it all over. I opened the jar up a bit like they say to and tried to put the oil in, but always wind up spilling.

Its way easier for me to just add a couple drops to the tool inlet at the start and end of each tool use as I connect it. Its less work than dealing with this.

It has a rather crude mechanism within it to control the dispensing of oil that relies on compressing a little o-ring with a set screw and metal disk.

Is it too much oil? Too little? Does it change over time? Do you want to trust a $400 impact to this device or know for sure its been oiled by adding a few drops

yourself?

Thats my experience with it FWIW. I dont recommend this at all.
