Looks like finding an inexpensive yet well rated compressor is difficult. Glad I didn't read the review on this one before I bought it.
I've had one of these for one whole day now, and it works perfectly but it is not perfect. It is a DEFINITE improvement over the inexpensive, entry level compressors like the 1Gal Oil Free Campbell Hausfeld. In fact, if you are considering one of those...I'd recommend spending the $50 more. I use compressors for model spray guns, and tire filling for cars, bicycles and motorcycles. It put two lbs in each of my car tires (low profile 17") with out kicking on to refill the tank.
Good:
The Motor ROCKS. Puts 3gal's of air in the tank quickly; like maybe a minute. I'll have to time it.
With no pressure in the tank, it still operates my air blower AND still puts air in the tank.
Not too heavy to move around; but I'm not a small guy. I think the packaging said 47lbs?
holds pressure when not being used.
Oil check, fill and drain holes are easily accessible.
No issues with parts fitting or working together. Just make sure you use the plumbers tape, and don't be stingy, to screw fittings together; it will prevent the leaks that will make you think you bought a crap product.

Bad (or just not so good):
The motor might have been meant for a bigger rig; the whole thing "levitates", basically hovers around while the motor is running. This is on flat, garage cement.
The power switch is a lever type; doesn't inspire confidence in the durability or weather resistance (not that I plan on using it in the rain) department.
Not a quiet compressor. I'd call it average. Not much louder than the Hausfeld I referenced earlier.
The regulator is a little flaky at low pressures; like 20lbs. It will go to zero if you go much lower than that; So not IDEAL for small airgun work.

I screwed on the air filter, pour in the lubrication oil provided, and it works perfectly. It filled up to 125 PSI in about 30 sec and automatically stopped. No leaks.

I thought this unit was the perfect size and price for someone like me who would use it on a very infrequent basis maybe six times a year around the house and garage. Also thought Craftsman would be nearly bullet-proof. First job out of the box was to clear the waterlines in my RV. Need 40 psi max for that job. But out of the box the Quick Connect on the unit itself was inoperable. Could not even connect the hose line to use the product for the purpose I purchased it for. Good thing I had a neighbor with a compressor handy or it would have been 30 miles one way to a store to buy parts to make it work. This experience really did not sit well with me. Anyway, the mechanical quality of the unit failed me before I could use it. I have no idea if it is a reliable product. Zero stars! (BTWStill shopping for a compressor for the next job I'll need. Suggestions welcome)
