I purchased this to extend the reach of a DC powered air compressor. Was deep in the desert of Mexico and found that this item didn't work. I was in a jam and had to extend the reach of the air compressor to inflate a flat tire on a boat trailer. That's when I found out that this item was defective. Had to cut off the connectors and do a quick and dirty splice into the wire attached to the air compressor.

Don't buy this item. If you do buy this item please make sure to test it immediately.

Everything is fine w/it other than we found out we actually had to either hold in on the cord which we plugged into the ext cord or push it in and then tape it on tight. Not what I wanted to do.
