I bought this sight glass to fit into my compressor to monitor oil levels. When I received the plastic window I noticed right away it was not going to fit. I was under the assumption it was 1/2" NPT or MPT. Not sure what thread this thing is(BSPT interchangeable?) but it sure is not American standard pipe thread. The whole thing was made of plastic but would have got the job done had it fit. It was much closer to 3/4" NPT but did not fit that either. Three stars for cheap construction with no reductions for me buying the wrong thing. The item is not worth sending back so it will be used for target practice.
