I ordered the check valve with 1/4 FPT threads, but they sent the 3/8 FPT size.

Mistakes are made and that's fine, but when trying to contact Universal Pneumatic & Electric Group for a return, they wouldn't reply.

I had to finally file a claim to get reimbursement. After it was reimbursed from Amazon, Universal Pneumatic & Electric Group sent this email (a month and a half later):

"we have contacted you back... stating that the part we sent you is correct. you are obviously getting your pipe measurements with a tape measure. that is why your calculations are incorrect.

we cannot pay the to and from freight charge for an item that was shipped exactly as ordered."

To which I replied:

"You stating that the part is correct is irrelevant.

It cannot be obvious that I measured with a tape measure, because I didn't.

It was not shipped as ordered.

It fits all my 3/8 connections."

The part was ordered on February 16, 2012 and shipped in a reasonable amount of time, but it was the wrong part and they didn't reply to me until March 27, 2012.

Be leery about this company.

I hope this company make 4 feet or 5 feet length hose with same fittings. This way, the connection area( air feed side ) won't scratch cars bumper area. Overall, this is good quality hose for my mini air ratchet.
