The AAA traveler road assistance kit is a waste -of space, money, and materials. Luckily I bought this for $8 in a clearance bin at my local sporting goods store. If I had bought it for $33 I would have been outraged. The emergency supplies are the worst quality imaginable, the flashlight is pathetically weak, even the bag it comes in isn't very good quality. The only reason this kit deserves even one star is because you can't buy this kind of "storage" bag and a pair of jumper cables for less than the $8 I paid. Save your money, and piece the kit together yourself.

Way below expectation. "63" piece ad is a deceiving trick. Bad. They count a single band aid as a piece to make the whole package a 63-piece item. It is like an illusion. I felt cheated.

This is a good, basic emergency kit. It would be better if it had emergency flares and hazard signs, but everything else one might need is included. One of my sons even commented how convenient it was to have a strip of Velcro on the outside of the bag, so he could stick in inside his hatch along the carpeted wall of the compartment.

I absolutely love having a retractable reel for my air compressor. It use to sit in an odd spot on a shelf and was pain to pull the hose out to where I needed often times having to move the compressor as well. The 100 feet is great and I added another 25 foot of hose to the reel.

I've found that I use my air compressor a lot now for simple tasks like using compressed air to blow out dust in areas help clean out the garage, quickly fill tires in bicycles etc. Its much handier now to also use my nail guns quickly.

Here is the almost part:

The rubber hose is pretty soft like an inner tube so it attracts dirt and grime like nothing else. This really would be good for a greasy shop that needed it for pneumatic hand tools for cars.

I'm using it more around wood working so it picks up a ton of dust and particles from the ground. When guiding it as it winds up I feel like my hands are caked in grime. I think I would rather have it using one of the poly-somthing hoses that are a smooth finish.

Other than that It works great.

I would recommend this to everyone. It's a very good product with a great price. It's all made of good tough metal that won't bend and the hose is at good quality.

The unit is solid but our hose had several

Small holes at the crimped end fitting and leaked. The crimping tool obviously missed theatre and hit the hose. An easy repair but annoying and unnecessary if they would just test these things at the factory. Another example of 90% craftsmanship in modern production.

This hose does exactly what I wanted it to do. I have had no problems with the reel rewinding or catching when it is suppose to catch. The hose itself is very durable. It can be mounted just about anywhere you want it, but is quite a job to mount on the wall if you are working alone as I was because of the weight, but it can and was accomplished. Shipping was fast and it was boxed well. No regrets at all.

I have had this reel for about 2 months and it has worked perfectly!! My son and his friends work on their cars all the time and have had no problems with this reel. I use pneumatic tools often and this has been a great time saver. I added a 14 ft Goodyear lead hose that is much more flexible than the heavy duty hose that comes with the reel.I think the quality is top notch for the price payed. Highly recommend.

Campbell Hausfeld H7273 Standard Pressure Regulator

I purchased one of these regulators when I installed a new compressor. It lasted about 9 months and then the inadequate plastic design simply failed. If you use one of these regulators, you can't leave any pressure on the plastic housing inards (when not in use) because it will fatigue and then shatter apart. I found pieces spread all over my garage where the compressor is installed. And when it breaks, the spring, etc from inside the knob go flying all over the place. There are many other reviews else-where that describe the same situation. This regulator should not be sold until the design is corrected.

If you look at the plastic threaded ring, as you can see in the picture, it does nothing. I am not sure but maybe its suppose to have a lip that helps to hold the knob base to the metal housing, but the design doesn't permit that. The result is the internal spring constantly puts pressure on a plastic part that can not bear the stress over any length of time, then it breaks.

Regulator arrived as advertised. It came with ample instructions and once installed it was very responsive and worked as designed. Seems to be a quality product and is currently installed on a craftsman 30 gallon air compressor. Most satisfied with purchase.

Failed after just 1 month. Pressure doesn't stay constant. Starts at 110 psi and drops down to 80 or less during any use and goes back up to 110 when not in use.

This unit worked pretty well and was about what you'd expect from a pressure regulator... for a little less than a year.

I have left this set @ 90PSI pretty much since the day I installed it. I have adjusted it maybe 5 times. About a week ago the pressure started creeping up on it's own and the over pressure release would continually hiss. I have verified that the gauge itself is fine. The regulator is what has failed after less than a year of just sitting there doing nothing.

Additionally, this is one of those units that you have to overadjust if you set the pressure too high. What I mean by that is that if you happen to pass the mark for the pressure you want, you can to turn it counterclockwise a good 5-10 turns before the pressure actually starts to drop, then turn it back up again to get the pressure you were after. That's a pretty minor thing though... just something to be aware of.
