I've been using this air compressor for about 3 weeks now for installing trim with 16 and 18ga. nail guns and it has been great. It goes from 0 to 125psi in 75sec. When it kicks on during use, it takes less than 15sec to refill. It is a little louder than I expected, but runs so briefly that it's hardly an issue. Also, it's fairly heavy so I set mine on a furniture dolly and just roll it around. So far, I'm very satisfied with my purchase and would recommend it to others.

This compressor didn't work right out of the box. It won't build pressure over 20 lbs. Emglo's custumer service was terrible. I have a similar compressor that has preformed well for 20 years. The new cold start provision is what is causing problems. After repeated calls to emglo's customer service they are supposed to send me a part to fix this.

The compressor works great. Seems to be very well made. The air release valves are much nicer and easier to operate than my older model. Refreshes quickly and holds its air with virtually no seepage.

I was hesitant to buy this portable compressor when reading the reviews regarding cold weather since my construction project was in the dead of winter. I had a similar experience.with not turning on, sluggish starting, etc.

HOWEVER, I noticed when I shortened the extension cord powering it and lengthened the air hose it solved the problem. The draw (amps) seemed to be the issue at least for me.
