Shipment arrived in two days. I can't even leave feedback until after 6 more days. This regulator and gauge is better then the original Norgren setup that came with my 5HP Campbell Hausfeld compressor. This regulator has two ports for the gauge. One on each side. This allows the user the flexibility to align and install the gauge on either side for the best view. A teflon-coated brass plug is provided to insert into the gauge port not used. A 3/16-inch Allen Wrench is needed to insert the plug. Once installed, this luxury feature prevents the regulator and gauge from interfering with the other controls on the compressor. And this gauge was free. Gauges usually cost as much as the regulator. I installed the regulator horizontal with the gauge facing up and clearly visible next to the tank pressure gauge. The entire unit is far more precise and sensitive than the original. I can adjust hose pressure accurately within a quarter pound. Frankly, I was not expecting this quality and features for $27.00. Simply install the regulator with the air-flow arrow pointing in the right direction. Cover all threads with Teflon tape before installing. I have no leaks and a compressor that functions better than new. This regulator will easily handle 125PSI working pressure. And just for extra safety, I use 200PSI hose. Hose sometimes get worn, crimped or twisted without the user being aware. Go ahead, let off some air.

This air regulator is one of the best that I've seen and used.

The construction is machined aluminum/heavy plastic, and the supplied guage is of a high quality, graduated in p.s.i. and bar. That being said, here's what sets it apart from the rest: you connect it to your air source and turn the knob to get your desired air pressure. If you turned too far, then you turn the knob 1/4 turn back and the air pressure backs off. You don't have to back it off 10 turns to release the pressure then try again. It is very easy and quick to set the pressure you want, and once the pressure it set, it stays there.

After dealing with what seems to be a sea of junk air regulators, I'd give this one 6 stars if I could. I highly recommend it.

Just installed this regulator on my portable compressor and it does seem to have reliable ajustment to it. The guage that came with it was made in china but the regulator was made here at least. I would recomend this to anyone that needs a quality regulator for there compressor.

I am posting this review in hopes that somebody will comment on it and tell me what's wrong.I honestly don't know if I am doing is something wrong or if this is a bad product. I think it's my fault.I've done extensive research on the web to find the source of this problem.

My Campbell Hausfield air compressor had a slow leak in it last summer. I used soapy water after unplugging it to try to find leaks. I found one but it continued to leak after I used teflon tape on that fitting.

I figured that i had a slow leak that I could not see in my old regulator. I replaced it with this one. First thing I noticed was that the knob comes off too easily. I'll fix that with some glue when i get around to it. The next thing I noticed was when I tried to cut the pressure back in my line air escapes forcefully out of this regulator. If I allow this to happen my compressor wil be coming on and off a lot more than I like. NO AIR ESCAPES when I have it fully open.My old one did not do that. I still think I have done something wrong so I refuse to downgrade this regulator. When i find out either way I will update this review and grade it accordingly.

I did really like the price of this unit and the fact that it came with an extra gauge. It looks to be of good quality material. That's another reason I think the fault is me.

Did I eventually find my leak??? No...I did not..Even with extensive use of soapy water. My compressor also has a habit of throwing a breaker when it comes on. I'm thinking the valve in the fitting that is between the compressor motor and the tank is bad. It's also possible that the air is leaking back in the motor itself. This compressor is only 8 years old and it is not in frequent use. If the leak is in the motor I'll probably sell this unit as a parts only compressor. I'm tired of dealing with it. OH...shutting this regulator completely off does not help. It's still leaking back in the unit itself.

As I said at the start I will really appreciate helpful comments on this problem.
