My boss keeps buying cheap hose fittings for the shop and after a couple of weeks they start leaking and after a couple of months they fail outright only to be replaced with another cheapie.

I've known from previous shops I've worked at that these Milton fittings last much, MUCH longer many years in some cases! I finally couldn't take the incessant hissing noises and the air compressor constantly running any more so I took it upon myself to buy a couple of these for our most used air hoses.

The hissing is gone, the compressor doesn't run nearly as much now and these should provide many years of trouble-free service!

When are they going to learn that buying cheap usually costs more in the long run!
