I own and have used Delta, HTC, Ridgid, Grizzly, and home built mobile stands with $50 casters on each corner, spending up to $300 for an HTC custom built for my MiniMax (with plastic casters by the way). While cast iron or rubber-tired steel casters have their place, plastic has held up just fine for my use (which includes 1/2 the shop with concrete and 1/2 in rough plywood flooring. I frequently negotiate a 1/4" bump between the wood and concrete and also go over a sill to the outside. The Jets have done just fine.

What I like about the Jet, compared to the HTC and others, is that it's easy to back tools against a wall and lock them in place with the Jet. One tip -you do want to secure your tool to the base for maximum stability. A plywood sub-base attached to both the often flimsy open sheet metal base of your tool and then with one bolt through each corner brace of the Jet base removes a lot of flex. Flex is the one limitation of the Jet (it really should get 4.5 stars because of this), but is easily overcome to create a 5 star solution.

I see the price has risen....mine was $79.99 with the free shipping. But this unit is very good. It took all of 3 minutes to put it together and about 10 more to slide it under my Delta 10" Radial Arm Saw. It came with all four corners/casters fully assembled, all I had to do was measure, pull out the spring loaded stops and slide the corners to the desired length on the stretchers. Truly, it could not be easier or quicker! When all four of the casters are locked it does not move unless you put so much pressure against it that they slide on the concrete (which incidentally I did). However, I found that it seemed to need more pressure to slide the saw now with the Jet Base than it did when all I had was the saw sitting on the shop floor.

Best of all, finally, I can put the saw out of the middle of the floor....EASILY!! Highly recommended.

I ordered this base after looking at a number of products. It is a great product. It is sturdy and the assembly uses no tools: it just snaps together. It rolls easily even with 500 lb of machine on it.

The minimum size is listed as 24" X 24" but this is not true. The minimum size is 18". You can make an 18" side by cutting one of the bars is half with a hacksaw. This takes less than ten minutes. Now the two 12" short bars are used to join the short sides. I used this technique to make a base for a band saw with a footprint of about 18" by 30" and it worked very well.

Having a small shop, I get to be creative in using my available space. Over the years I've used many mobile bases for my various equipment some good, others literally dangerous to operate. I use a 500 lb bandsaw. Moving it had been a challenge because it's top heavy, and I had originally mounted it on a flimsy, three-wheeled mobile base. Too many times I came close to tipping it over. For years I knew how to make it safer, but never made the change to a better base... until I got fed up with the dangerous situation. I decided on this heavy duty base, and am glad I did. The assembly instructions were clear and intuitive. I modified my installation to widen the footprint and further reduce the tipping potential. I mounted a 3/4 inch solid-core plywood panel to the base of the saw. I cut it about 6 inches wider (all four sides) than the saw's base, bolted it to the saw base, then bolted the ply to the mobile base. I opted for the heavy duty model, even though the less expensive model would have worked. For me, it's the perfect solution. Soon I'll be replacing my other lesser quality mobile bases with two just like this one.

This takes 2 minutes to assemble. No bag of bolts or screws, and you can put the instructions away! The package has eight pieces: 4 bars, 4 corners, pre-assembled with wheels. The bars simply insert into each side of the corners and you use a spring loaded push pin to lock into place. It couldn't be any easier. This unit is very heavy duty, capable of holding 1200 pounds. Minimum size is 24x24, max size is 34x34. There is about a half inch of clearance, and all 4 wheels are lockable. Two of the wheels have nice levers making it easy to lock and unlock with your foot. The other two wheels can lock with your foot as well, but the locks are on the axle of the wheel (locking caster wheels).

I am using this for a 600 pound, 20 inch Jet planer.

Though this is the first air nailer I have owned, I have used a few in my life (also, I do have a 16 gauge Porter Cable "Bammer" finish nailer). After reading up on what features to look for in an air nailer, I chose this model.

It uses very little air, which is good because I only have a small compressor. It also has a directional exhaust to keep the air blasts out of your face and a padded tip to avoid marring the workpiece. The grips are very comfortable. I found that setting the nail depth was easy and accurate, as was loading the nails into the magazine. The heft and feel of this nailer is that of a good quality tool. Though I probably don't need to use 2" brads on most of my projects, it is good to have that option if and when I need it.

Basically, the only complaint I had was that the little bottle of oil that was included with this kit had a cracked cap, which allowed some oil to leak out in the case during shipment. Otherwise, this is a very solid brad nailer at a great price. I highly recommend it!

I needed a brad nailer for nailing some trim and toe kick in a kitchen. I wanted a Paslode for I have had previous experience with their products. Being a homeowner on a budget, I wanted a nailer for under $120. At the local hardware store, the salesman confirmed my thoughts about Paslode being an excellent choice. Paslodes cheapest brad nailer was over $150. Way too much money. I asked the friendly sales person what he would recomend. Supprisingly he recomended the Campbell Hausfeld 2" brad nailer. He stated they have sold tons of them, and they hardley ever come back. So I bought it. WOW. I was impressed, nice balance in hand, adjustable air port, depth control. The best feature is how little air it uses. My 4gal compressor hardly ran at all. It will drive 2" brads into oak with out a hitch. At $50 the only thing I can complain about is the tool oil it came with leaked in the case. So the nailer was coated in tool oil. Oh well. For home use I strongly recomend!!

I received this nailer as a gift, part of an air compressor combo pack ($79 Menards sale). I have previously used other, more expensive nailers and after 2 full days of heavy use, this nailer has impressed me. Although Campbell Hausfeld has been around for a very long time, I was afraid their quality has slipped as their products seem to be available at every discount and overstock retailer. To my surprise, this tool seems well made, and includes a nice set of features. I particularly like the ability to use 2-inch brads, a feature typically found only in nailers at twice the price. I may never need to buy a finish nailer. I also like the adjustable air port and contoured rubber grip. If you're looking for a decent brad nailer with enough money left over to buy the hoses and accessories you need (or another tool for that matter), give this a try.

This has misfired or double fired a couple of times and other times works great. I am hesitant to use it where it would be very visible or where touchup would be difficult (like stained material).

I purchased this nailer for a specific small project. I choose this inexpensive unit thinking I'd seldom have a use for it. I've found it very handy to tack material in position before fastening with a framing nailer in two situations. It's very light and is easy to handle while holding a heavy piece of material with the other hand. Material doesn't move as the brad penetrates as often happens with framing nails following the grain or hitting a knot. Once tacked in position, the brads prevent the framing nails from moving the material. Every now and then I actually use it for it's intended purpose of fastening trim.

I'm very satisfied with the quality and performance of the tool. I've had one jam which was easily cleared with the quick release clamp (hit a knot I think). It's easy to adjust depth and quick and easy to add brads or change sizes.

This airbrush works great! Very easy transition if you work with traditional trigger style air guns. This airbrush performs as well as my Iwatta. If you prefer trigger style painting then this this air brush is for you. It is priced slightly higher than other air brushes but the performance and design was worth it for me.

I've been using an Iwata Custom Micron CM-C Plus for a few months (I'm a beginner with airbrushing). While attending the RCX (Remote Control vehicles) Expo I watched a fantastic demo from one of the guys at Grex and was instantly sold on trying this airbrush. Got it home and was instantly blown away. I thought Iwata was the gold standard of airbrushes but this Grex was more comfortable, gave me more precise lines, elimited the splatter I had been getting with my Iwata, and was just overall superior to the other airbrush. Selling the Iwata and sticking with the Grex now. I hope these guys get some more publicity because their product is great.

I have tried and own several airbrushes. The Grex is by far the best I have ever used. Cost is not terrible and with the pistol grip it gives me far better control than any I have ever used. This will be the only brand i will buy from now on. I also use hvlp guns a lot in my business and plan on purchasing a Grex X1000 in the near future. I would recommend this airbrush to anyone.
