Well, it was not the correct size. I have been struggling for several weeks hooking up this regulator to a compressor left by my Dad. I have seen photos in Micromark catalog of it connected so I know it is possible. 3/8 inch female end is way too big. Will have to remeasure although my previous measurements have only been frustrating. What I probably need is 1/2 by 1/4 to connect the airbrush hose. None of this is your fault ,of course. Item arrived as described and very rapidly. I will try again later, after is pain has subsided.

I have a little 2hp air compressor in my garage that is over twenty years old. I still had the air hose that came with it but it had leaks and was getting pretty frayed. I'm an everyday framer and have used almost every air hose on the market. This hose is worthless. The factory ends broke in two weeks and after replacing them I literally threw this hose in the dump trailer. Buy a Flexeel or a basic rubber hose, don't waste your money.

I've worked in the automotive industry for many years and used all types of air hoses from cheap to decent. I came across this hose at Sears and decided to replace my personal compressor hose at home. This product is awesome. I have never seen or used anything like it. It definitely delivers what it says and is top notch.

I had been using a 1/4 inch polyurethane air hose for my air tools when my wife bought this 3/8 inch Flexzilla hose off my wish list for Christmas. Anybody that has experience with polyurethane hoses will know that their light weight is a nice feature, but that they are not nearly as pliable as some of the other alternatives. Flexzilla hoses are the most pliable hoses that I have seen and they are constructed very well. Although this hose is a bit heavier, I still find it easier nicer to work with than the polyurethane hose.

This spray gun has everything that a amateur would need. It works great I sprayed 14 pre-primed doors in about 4 hours, they took one coat, and it was a mirror finish. You can not ask for anything more from a spray gun in this price range. Be prepared to have a lot of overspray as is to be expected with any spray gun.

I did a lot of research prior to purchasing this spray gun.(has both pressure and siphon features with an easy switch knob).

I previously had a Binks model 35 that was just super but now discontinued.I replaced it with a Binks Model 25 that lasted one spray session. I recently sprayed acrylic enamel with this gun and it worked flawlessly.

This gun hopefully will spray latex and most liquids. The nice thing about Campbell Hausfield is that on their web page you can purchase individual parts or parts kits. I purchased a O ring gasket kit for $15.00.

After using and while cleaning this gun I discovered a broken seal. I called CH and they sent a replacement part immediately. So I give a A for both Amazon and CH.

Works as advertised. Much better for small projects than the airless sprayer I was using. Clean-up is a snap after use, with very little wasted paint.

This is a good place to start your air accessory collection, although I would modify it a little to make it more useful. I bought it to complement my Porter Cable 3hp compressor, which is equipped with M-style quick connects.

It has two accessories that require a male M-style coupler plugs, (the blow gun and tire chuck), but only three of this style coupler plug. If you have more than one air tool to setup, you will need additional male M-style coupler plugs (Tool Crib #727BK @$1.00). The plastic tire pressure gauge is functional, but nothing special.

The brass hose repair barbs are nice, but there are no hose clamps provided if you have to use them. I would be hesitant to put them under pressure without a band clamp holding them in place. The two female couplers and female coupler plugs will complete two 3/8" air hoses.

The blow gun is a quality, versatile unit. It comes with a rubber tip, metal tip and pin inflator for balls. The valve is easily operated and it does not leak.

With the exception of the plastic tire gauge, all the parts are high quality and useful. I could have done without the tire gauge in exchange for a few more quality parts (male coupler plugs and screw type band hose clamps). If the assortment had been a little more complete, this would rate five stars. You will also need a roll of teflon plumbers tape to seal all the threads. Now you know what else you need to finish outfitting your compressor.

I looked far and wide for American made compressor accessories. Sadly most every thing available locally was made in China. Found these Milton brand and bought them. High quality pieces and all are great quality. Well made to stand the test of time. I highly recommend these. You can buy cheaper but not better.

Purchased for my SS3L3 compressor, this kit was convenient for extending my warranty on the compressor. I've sense upgraded from the minuscule intake filter setup that comes on the compressor from the factory (and I recommend you do the same!) so the filters included with the service kit are no longer of use to me.

Also, I've found there are places to buy the same ingersoll genuine oil in full 1qt jugs for about 1/2 the price of this kit, so thats the route im taking now.

In a nutshell, the kit services your compressor if its all factory and extends warranty. If its not all factory and you're still buying this 'service kit', you're wasting money so look elsewhere.

I bought a replacement from a local store. The pressure regulator itself seems top notch. The way it is packaged. Not so much.

I would buy again. The company/not amazon needs to reconfigure the packaging of the part though.
