I love the compressor, but when I received it from UPS it had tipped over and broke the air gauge. Neither Amazon or UPS seem to want to replace the gauge for me even though it arrived like that. I will buy the gauge myself, and never buy from Amazon again. I also will use Fedex from now on!!!!!

The first aircompressor arrived five days before Christmas damaged. I immediatley called the customer sevice and they returned my call only a short three hours latervs the 24 other companies take. It was almost 7:00 pm when they called. They sent out a new one that night ensuring me it would arrive before Christmas and it did. But when my husband went to use the second one it was missing a few pieces.

My husband asked me to purchase this air compressor which arrived quickly and in perfect shape. We have only had it a little over a week, so I can't comment on the compressors total capabilities or long lasting qualities. However, my husband seems very pleased with it so far. The only suggestion he had was that it did not come with very good instructions and no extra tools. Luckily the tools from our old compressor worked with it.

This is a good place to start your air accessory collection, although I would modify it a little to make it more useful. I bought it to complement my Porter Cable 3hp compressor, which is equipped with M-style quick connects.

It has two accessories that require a male M-style coupler plugs, (the blow gun and tire chuck), but only three of this style coupler plug. If you have more than one air tool to setup, you will need additional male M-style coupler plugs (Tool Crib #727BK @$1.00). The plastic tire pressure gauge is functional, but nothing special.

The brass hose repair barbs are nice, but there are no hose clamps provided if you have to use them. I would be hesitant to put them under pressure without a band clamp holding them in place. The two female couplers and female coupler plugs will complete two 3/8" air hoses.

The blow gun is a quality, versatile unit. It comes with a rubber tip, metal tip and pin inflator for balls. The valve is easily operated and it does not leak.

With the exception of the plastic tire gauge, all the parts are high quality and useful. I could have done without the tire gauge in exchange for a few more quality parts (male coupler plugs and screw type band hose clamps). If the assortment had been a little more complete, this would rate five stars. You will also need a roll of teflon plumbers tape to seal all the threads. Now you know what else you need to finish outfitting your compressor.

I have used this nailer with 1" and 2" brad nails. It works well with both tank and tankless air compressors. I have put over 2000 nails through this nailer. It's safety works great for all uses of the home repair person. I have used it to from wall mounting shelving to nailing with glue for wood furniture. If I had one complaint with this product, it is that the depth adjustment is quite sensitive. If the nailer is angled at more than 30 degrees left or right (as one would do when nailing into the corner) the nail will not be fully engaged. When a hammer is used to fully seat the nail. The head of the nail usually bends over. If you purchase this product knowing this minor limitation, I feel that the overall safety, ease of use, and range of nail sizes will more than satisfy the most scrutinizing user.

I am a big time Delta/Porter-Cable enthusiast. Most everthing in my garage says Delta or Porter-Cable on it. They have been great with replacement parts and/or info over the phone. But I have to say that this Bostitch is a great little brad nailer. I own a PC BN200 brad nailer but the Bostitch is my hands down favorite. Super light weight, easy to grip, easy to load and no recoil (if you release the trigger after you remove the tip from the work surface). That's right! No dents even without the plastic tip.

Three things I like the best are:

1) It leaves a smaller and cleaner hole than my Porter-Cable.

2) It shoots 5/8" to 2" nails opposed to 3/4" to 2".

3) Being a smaller gun, it fits into tighter spaces and is easier to handle for longer periods of time.

Don't get me wrong, the Porter-Cable is great, but the Bostitch is just a little more refined.

One thing that should be noted, the Bostitch does not have a quick release nose piece but really, when was the last time you've ever had to clear a jam on a brad nailer? Besides, it won't happen with the restrictive on this unit.

At less than an expensive dinner, you owe yourself this one.

Don't second guess buy the best one first. It will be money very well spent.

I should have purchased this bradnailer a long time ago! You wouldn't believe the time saved attaching base and window trim to walls with no bashed wood or fingers. If you are looking for a great tool at a great price then this is it! The nails are shot with supreme accuracy and even the smallest trim was never "split" like with finish nails (no predrilling needed). Wonderfull light tool that is very easy to load and use. Uses 5/8" 18 gauge to 2" brads which I thought wouldn't hold worth a damn but was shocked! This tool is a must have for anyone who wishes to trim their home or do woodworking.

When I started looking at these retractable air hoses I was surprised by how much they cost. I found this one and thought I might as well try it, if it didn't work I could return it. I am very impressed, it is a piece of cake to mount with the included screws and the hose pulls out and retracts very well. The case is high quality. I just have a small home shop and won't be putting too much strain on it but for the price it's perfect for me. I have had this hose reel for 4 years now and today I had to take it down because the hose split where it connects to the reel. This reel works great in the warmer weather but every winter the PVC hose becomes stiff and will not retract. I have to push the hose back in.

I am trying to get it apart and will replace the PVC hose with rubber hose.

Of course I went thru the installation before I aired the thing up thinking everything would be ok....wrong...after listening closely I found it had an internal air leak that I could not fix, so I exchanged it for another one (which Amazon handles EXPERTLY!!) and so far so good with the second one. I got so tired of see the dang air hose laying around. Hopefully this lasts a few years (fingers crossed).
