Factory-Reconditioned Porter-Cable 3PAKR Finish Nailer/Brad Nailer/Stapler Compressor Combo

Factory-Reconditioned Porter-Cable 3PAKR Finish Nailer/Brad Nailer/Stapler Compressor Combo
  • 150 psi max allows users to drive more nails than a traditional 135 max psi compressor
  • 6 gal tank allows users to drive a large quantity of nails on a single tank charge
  • 2.6 SCFM @ 90 psi allows for quick compressor recovery time, per ISO1217
  • 10 Amps current draw allows use of compressor with a 16 ga. or heavier extension cord (50 feet or less)
  • FN250C uses standard 16 ga. finish nails from 1" to 2-1/2" long

In my kit, the finishing nailer was refurbished, the rest new. It didn't work at all out of the box. It was so bad it almost surely didn't work when it left the repair center. Porter Cable (PC) would not take the unit back; I had to take it to a repair center which meant taking time off of work. When I picked it up, they said a part was missing, that they couldn't repair it, and that it could not have worked when it left the repair facility. I contacted PC again and they sent me a prepaid return mailing label and exchanged it for a new unit in retail packaging. In the end, PC did the right thing but I'm still annoyed that I had to invest three hours of my time to get it resolved.

Now that everything works, it seems to be of decent quality. the compressor is loud, but the largish tank and high pressure are very, very nice. Overall, if I had it to do over again, I'd probably go for the Bostich set for approximately the same price, but I'm happy with the set that I have.

I bought this last week because I am working on a 12ft high x 36ft long x 4ft deep childrens playhouse. There was no way I was hammer nailing all of the roof shingles, trim, etc... So I went on line and saw this package. Let me say that it is AWESOME! It looked brand new. There was no visual signs of any prior use. Other than "Inspected by 3-1" stickers on everything you would think it was brand new. I have used over 4000 Finish Nails, and over 2500 Finish nails since it arrived (I haven't used the stapler yet). It has performed flawlessly. I am so glad I got it. It is a great value!

The compressor was toast. Could not have been tested before shipping. My first and perhaps last refurb tool purchase.

The guns in this kit are great, however I think PC should have stepped it up to the better brad nailer... Guns worked with zero problems, zero jams, zero misfires. Adjustable depth works very well.

Not a huge fan of the compressor, not just with this kit, but any combo kit. I wish they would take some of the better compressors and make them into a combo pack for a little more money. mainly because outside of a combo pack, the guns are pretty expensive. You're basically buying this combo for the guns and a starter compressor till you can buy a better one.

Item arrived in great working condition. It had some other guys last name etched into the bottom, but otherwise in pristine condition. Worked like a charm.

I saw the same kit at Home Depot for $289. So... This is a wonderful value.

Steele Products SP-CE356M 6 Gallon Air Compressor with Wheel Kit

Steele Products SP-CE356M 6 Gallon Air Compressor with Wheel Kit
  • 120V 60Hz
  • 3.5 HP
  • Max PSI 115
  • 4.2 CFM @ 90
  • 5.2 CFM @ 40

This was one of two of the same products both delivered in completely destroyed condition. On opening each package I was greeted by shattered plastic and mangled fittings. The packing was clearly inadequate. The problem was compounded by the fact that the first one was returned only to have the second delivered in even worse condition. A Christmas present clearly not opened on Christmas morning.

I bought this compressor at a local department/hardware store. I didn't experience any of the issues that I read about here in other reviews but that is probably because it was preassembled and checked out by the service tech at the store. When I got the compressor home and plugged in, I pulled up on the on switch and the unit started right up. It reached about 115 pounds and shut off per its design. I attached a 15 foot air line with a blow gun. I proceeded to test it and made various adjustments to the line pressure. When it dropped pressure to about 80 pounds it kicked back on and ran on up to 115 pounds again. That is all the testing I have done so far but if you use this compressor within its limits you should be happy. I am sure it will not be big enough to run an orbital sander or impact wrench but it should work fine for blowing out parts such as dirty carburetors. It will probably run a crown stapler or brad gun and will most likely pump up any automotive/motorcycle tires. Use it for it's intended use and you should be happy.

Opened the box and found loose screws and washers strewn around in the packaging. The plastic housing that covers the power switch had come off as well. The only assembly required is attachment of the handle, 2 wheels and 2 rubber feet. All three of these operations were missing something; screw for the handle and one rubber foot and the axel bolt for one wheel. I made due with hardware I had on hand and got it together. The switch housing was a bit of a mystery, no fasteners of positive attachment method but the power button on top is to be pulled up "on" and pushed in "off". SInce pulling up pulls the whole cover off I am currently keeping it attached with a spring clip. I added the oil as instructed, let it run for 15 minutes then let the tank pressurize also as instructed and it seems to work fine, loudly but fine so far.

DeVILBISS AIR LINE FILTER/Water/Oil Trap w/50 Foot HOSE

DeVILBISS AIR LINE FILTER/Water/Oil Trap w/50 Foot HOSE
  • Devilbiss Finishline HAR-602 AIR LINE FILTER with REGULATED CONTROL UNIT
  • Plus a 50 Foot 3/8" Goodyear Rubber Air Hose

Just as described. Had to buy a few fittings to mount. Would like to have had a fluid filled pressure gauge...that's easy enough to change out. That's personal preference. Item was purchased to remove water and regulate pressure for sandblasting and painting. Performs as expected.

I recently purchased a Ingersoll Rand air compressor 19CFM at 90PSI I needed a filter. I found this one it was the right price for my budget and so far has done every thing I have asked it to do, it removes the water for my sand blaster and it works as they advertized so far great product the only thing was had to get a cupping to adapt the hose no big deal, for the first time I got tired of sandblasting before I ran out of air and my nozzle never clogged due to moisture! The only thing I would do is purchase a spare \ replacement filter just to have.
