GOODYEAR 46546 3/8-Inch by 100-Feet 300 PSI Rubber Air Hose With 1/4-Inch MNPT Ends and Bend Restric

GOODYEAR 46546 3/8-Inch by 100-Feet 300 PSI Rubber Air Hose With 1/4-Inch MNPT Ends and Bend Restrictors
  • Solid Brass End Fittings: 1/4-Inch MNPT
  • Spiral Synthetic Yarn Reinforcement
  • Abrasion-Resistant Rubber Outer Jacket
  • Bend Restrictors Prevent Kinks Near End Fittings
  • 100% Made and Assembled in the USA

So far so good. I replaced another air hose that was supplied with a Neiko 100 foot reel. That hose deteriorated and began to leak around the brass fitting. That hose was cracking and becoming hard and brittle and had to be replaced. The new hose is very flexible even in cold weather. So far it is performing well. Only time will tell I suppose.

AAA 73 Piece Premium Excursion Road Kit

AAA 73 Piece Premium Excursion Road Kit
  • Compact 73 piece road assistance kit by AAA and LifeLine First Aid
  • Heavy-duty booster cable
  • 250-psi air compressor
  • Hand-charged dual LED flashlight
  • Includes a 45 piece first-aid kit

The AAA 73 Piece Adventurer Road Assistance Kit is okay, but could be much better.

Seventy-three pieces sounds like a great deal or bargain; however, keep in mind that one alcohol prep or small pamphlet is counted within that number. In addition, the accompanying hand-tools (e.g. screw driver, pliers) are of very low quality.

Overall, the kit is recommended, but users may consider supplementing the hand tools for better brands, such as Craftsman or Stanley, and adding other useful materials, such as air foam to fill tires, ice scraper (if one lives in cold climates), and much more.

this pack has a lot of great stuff, including jumper cables and an electric air compressor (would have never thought to buy one but now that i have it i feel much better) The triangle is heavy which is good for windy weather, and the wind-up flashlight is useful. The poncho and first-aid kit is a great extra. when i first got it i took everything out and played around with the different pieces and then was able to repack the bag to get it to zipper up easily (unlike maps where once you open you cant fold it again). The bag stays in my trunk at all times and feel that when i travel i will be safe for most situations.

this kit is overpriced there's a heavier/bigger kit at CostCo for $29.99 as of 10/17/09

A great value for the money. Comes with everything mentioned in the description above and is contained quite nicely and conveniently in the double sided/zippered bag. The contents are arranged nicely inside. The only thing it didn't come with was a glass breaking/seat belt cutting tool. The next AAA kit up comes with one, but you can get the tool cheaper than paying the price it costs to upgrade the kit.

I bought two of these; one for my car and one for my husbands. Actually, he cut his finger pretty bad the other day so we got in the first aid part of the kit and used a band-aid!!

The first time I needed to use an item from this kit it let me down. I had a slow leak in a tire, and discovered it while hundreds of miles from home. This kit has an air compressor -no problem right? Well the part that clamps on to the valve stem broke off in my hand before I even had the compressor out of my trunk. I've since replaced many of the components of this kit with separately purchased items. I'd have been better off just using the description of the kit as a packing list to build my own.

Honeywell TH6220 FocusPro 6000 5-1-1 Programmable Heat Pump Thermostat

Honeywell TH6220 FocusPro 6000 5-1-1 Programmable Heat Pump Thermostat
  • Selectable to 5-1-1 (Weekdays, Saturday, Sunday) or 5-2 (Weekdays, Weekend) programmable thermostat
  • Large, clear, backlit display - easy to read in various lighting conditions
  • Adaptive Intelligent Recovery - ensures programmed temperature is reached by programmed time

I originally bought a single-stage Honeywell Digital Thermostat, but it was the wrong one. Apparently I needed a two-stage thermostat for a heat pump. This thermostat did the trick and was easy to install. It has a number of enhanced features that allow you put it in an automatic setting so you don't have to switch between heat and cool. A great two-stage digital thermostat for the money!

Very Versatile Thermostat. Will easily program to work with a number of different types of systems such as heatpump, oil and gas, electric, multistage units. I am very impressed with this one. Highly recommended!

I had this thermostat for about a month on a new furnace before replacing it with a TH7500D so I could have 7 day program-ability. It kept very even temps and is fairly easy to operate.

Be forewarned however that the ease or difficulty of the installation has almost nothing to do with the thermostat itself. It is determined by the equipment you have installed and the manner in which they were installed. Have a simple furnace wired using the standard scheme and it will be 15min easy. Have a heat pump with a two-stage fossil fuel backup, two stage AC that was installed by a non-conformist plumber and it may take a while to sort out. Use the labels include to label the wires as they are removed from the old. If your equipment or wire combo isn't in the install instructions call tech support.

You must use the manual to program it the first time because the screen just shows you a code that means nothing without the manual.

The instructions are very vague and do not help you at all. Had professionals confused. However after paying the $60 installation fee and working just fine now saved money on electricity bill.... Remember you have to program this thermostat for Heat Pump if you want it to work!

This model is normally not available to homeowners....only contractors...It is FAR superior to the same Focus Pro 6000 available to homeowners at your local hardware store. I highly recommend this model even though they say homeowners should only allow a licensed contractor install this unit. It has MANY awesome features that do need to be set properly, but I disagree with other reviewers who said the instructions are hard to follow and engineers and contractors could not understand the directions. I am not in the heating and air biz...I am not exactly Mr. Know it all...if I could figure this out so easily, anybody should be able to...The set-up and wiring was very easy.....It took me about 3 5 minutes to remove my old thermostat and wire this one up....very easy..(I have a 2/1 stage unit with emergency and aux heat, cool and etc..)....I was really sorta shocked it was so easy to wire up and the instructions were very clear, although not really needed..this is like the thermostat for dummies.....awesome features, but very, very easy for anybody to install, set up, program and etc.....After wiring the unit I went in to set-up....It was a breeze...lots of features...very easy to figure out how to set up all features, activate them, deactivate them and etc.....Only had it for 3 days now but so far I absolutely love it and would highly recommend this model. Do not be swayed by the talk of it being too hard to figure out and buy the homeowner model instead. There is no comparrison between the two...They are similarily priced, but this model has so many more features and is very easy to use.....And the features on this not available on the homeowner model will seriously save you some money and works very well to "work with your unit to ensure optimal efficiency as well as 'protecting' your system". I got mine for $50 which was actually cheaper then the Focus Pro 6000 'homeowner model' sold at Home Depot. And again, there is no comparrison...This model is so much better and is very easy for anybody to figure out...If I could do it so easily, I find it hard to believe that engineers and so called experts could not figure this out.....I mean it is so easy I just cant believe the reviews that say experts could not figure it out....Buy this model....you will not regret it and if you got past the 3rd grade, you wont have any problems installing this unit and setting it up....If I could install it in about 3 5 minutes, anybody can....Setting it up took about 10 15 minutes (probably less, but I was double checking every setting) as it does have about 20 or 30 'features' that need to be set...but each setting was a breeze and easy to understand....Once done, you just need to play with your scheduling to find the right temps and right schedule for your lifestyle...Lastly, since installing this I am now wondering if my old thermostat (was not that old...was a very nice programmable Bryant that I had no complaints with) was not "In Sync" with my heating/cooling system or maybe it was, but this models features make everything work better...My system now heats faster and cools faster in far less time and the unit runs about half as much as before I installed this unit...I am thoroughly impressed after only 3 days..well today is actually day 4......Great unit!!!

Hitachi 19210B Air Compressor Synthetic Oil 8oz SAE 5W50

Hitachi 19210B Air Compressor Synthetic Oil 8oz SAE 5W50
  • Synthetic Oil- SAE 5W50

If you are interested in 5W50 do not buy this product. They will send you Hitachi 19210 which is 10W30. This oil has totally different parameters then 5W50. I called them couple of weeks ago letting them know about the mix-up and they told me this is the only oil they have and still keep the same description of the product. I guess the company has an overstock of 10W30 and just wants to sell it. They do not care that it can damage your compressor.

One good thing about it is that they did not mind accepting the product back. Just remember to request the return lable for the shipment. Money for the product was refunded, but the cost of initial shipment was not (and in my case it was almost $10). It was them who sent the wrong product, so they should refound my entire costs, not only for the product.

Buy Hitachi 19210B Air Compressor Synthetic Oil 8oz SAE 5W50 Now

I am writing this review in effort to clarify what the difference is between Hitachi 19210 compressor oil verses Hitachi 19210B compressor oil. The short answer is they are both one of a kind, 5W-50 synthetic compressor oil. Hitachi added the "B at the end designating Bulk.

For those who are interested in the long version, read on. I ordered a 12 pack of Hitachi 19210B compressor oil through Amazon and received a 12 pack of Hitachi 19210 compressor oil as labeled on the bottles.

I called Hitachi's 1-800-706-7337 (USA Power Tool) number that Friday evening and asked the rep to please tell me what is the difference between Hitachi's 19210 and 19210B versions of this compressor oil is.

The response was the 19210 has been discontinued and replaced by the 19210B version. The rep had no further information spec wise and suggested I speak with Hitachi's Tech Support team but unfortunately they left for the evening and would not be back until next Monday.

That night after reading the two reviews, I too had the same concerns expressed in both of the reviews, is this a 10W-30 oil or seeing the 19210 has been discontinued, how old is the oil I received? I did not want to risk using this oil in three Hitachi compressors I own.

Convinced that there is a difference, I contacted Amazon that night and explained my issue. The Amazon rep was very polite, sympathetic and helpful. My original order was reordered with the expectation that I will receive 12 bottles labeled 19210B. I receive shipment today and on the sealed box there was a label stating "Hitachi 19210B 8 ounce synthetic compressor oil 12 bottles". The box was opened and all 12 bottles are labeled 19210.

I called Hitachi and asked to speak with a Tech Support rep. I asked the Tech Support rep what is the difference between 19210 and 19210B. The answer was there is no difference. Hitachi changed the model number by adding a "B" to indicate bulk. The silk screen label on the bottle was never changed and will read 19210 and further stated that this compressor oil is synthetic 5W-50 compressor oil.
