The description for this product does not state the actual operating characteristics. It only says (several times) that it has a 0 160 psi gauge. You would think the gauge scale would be the same as the regulator characteristics, but this is not true. The label on the product says, "Max. Pressure 100 PSI Adjustable range 7.1 PSI -92.3 PSI" I assume the only reason it has a gauge that goes to 160 is to fool people into thinking the operating range is higher. (By the way, the dial background really is white, not green. I am not sure why this matters, however.)

I purchased this gauge to use with my multiple spray guns and brad nailer. I used quick connect couplers on both ends to make it easier to use with any tool. Very pleased with its performance. Holds pressure at exactly what I set it for. This is a real regulator and not.just a reducing valve. Highly recommend.

I specifically ordered this product because it has a green gauge face in the product picture (prior to and June 1st, 2012). When the item arrived the product had a white gauge face, which I do not want.

I never used this item but found when I received it that it was designed with a swivel fitting most likely specifically for a spray gun attachment.

Milton Industries S-745 1/4 Npt Female Amt-style 3 Way Coupler

Bought this (and some other Milton units) to standardize my workshop on a single quality connector. I had one out of box failure (leaked at the factory joint) out of about 25 units. Itwas promptly replaced by the seller free of charge, very pleased.

I orders up various quantities of the S775 (ends of hoses or hose reels and tools with 1/4" NPT male), S776 (tools with 1/4" NPT female), S213 (5 piece set of the 75 & 76, plus the male A series ends you need for loose hoses), S745 (used to make a conversion hose so I can borrow a friends tools that use the M style connectors). All interconnect nicely, and seal beautifully. The real test is time and use, so maybe in 6 months after I drag them around the shop can comment on longevity.

One thing that I found an improvement over the cheapo crap ones, I can snap a tool in one handed, without having to retract the collar to insert. Nice! Would highly recommend these to replace the cheap ones that are bought at your local import tool store which all leak and get sloppy very quickly.

I recently purchased this compressor and couldn't be happier. It performs extremely well (it's a compressor what's to not work). Shipping was a great experience (shouldn't reflect opinions of the product anyway), timely service and it arrived in perfect condition.

This compressor is a major step up from my previous one. It's quiet though you can feel a minor vibration in the floor from the pistons in the compressor thumping along. That will be corrected when I finalize it's position in the shop and mount it. I may use some rubber grommets to isolate it a bit more, I'm not sure that it really needs it though. More than likely just bolting it down should minimize the vibration.

The compressor fills the tank quickly and I haven't had to adjust the cutoff swith as it came set correctly from the factory.

I'd buy it again no problem.....

I took a chance, ordering this compressor from Amazon. Price was right and I _thought_ Campbell Hausfeld was a quality brand. The process of ordering from Amazon was straight forward. But the compressor was damaged when delivered. An air filter was crushed. Amazon doesn't handle part replacements, so I had the choice of shipping it back to them for a replacement (300lb compressor on a pallet) or they would refund me the cost of purchasing the replacement air filter. I chose that, but then after running the compressor for less than an hour, the electric motor blew up. It makes a horendous screetching noise when running. But unfortunately since it's past 30 days, I have to deal with the manufacturer (no credit for the time spent waiting for the damaged filter element, which prevented the unit from being run). All in all, I'm receiving fairly poor service on what appears to be total junk.

lesson learned, should've gone to a local tool supplier.

Product arrived in only a few days, well packaged and in good condition. Only a few bolts and nuts to install wheels. The unit has been working flawlessly. So far it's only been used for pumping up car tires and the grandkids basketballs, footballs, etc..

I bought this for my garage on Amazon. When I opened the box, I noticed the oil that came with it had spilled all over inside the box, but that is not the reason for the poor review. I also noticed that the finishing over the housing on the motor was not machined well. It was good enought that it sealed and surprisingly the oil didn't leak around the gasket. After a few weeks of use, the plastic fan cracked. I emailed rockford to get a part and there was no response. Since the motor could no longer stay cool, it didn't take long for the motor to overheat. So that was that. A waste of $200.00 Do yourself a favor and get an oil free air compressor. And if you are going to buy one, buy one locally, where you can take it back if you have problems. This motor draws around 1800 watts when running, and when starting around 3600 watts. Don't try to run this off a 10 amp breaker as it will trip. 110 volts x 10 amps =1100 watts. Not enough.
