This GMC 2HP compressor is fantastic. Aside from the notable increase in power over a 1HP unit, IT IS SO MUCH QUIETER!!!!!

REALLY, the You Tube video is a bit dramatic but the machine makes the point, it is quieter and fills quicker. The tanks are also not steel which means that while you do need to empty the tank of water after each day's use, not worrying about rust is nice.

Got two instead of one. I thought the second box is an accessory, but it was just one more of the same. It took a month to send it back. Didn't bother much, but inconvenient.

They need to sell this at Home Depot! But of course they won't the other compressor's sales would plummet. I've only had mine for a few weeks but I'm loving it. It's so quiet and pressures up so fast that I use it way more than I ever used my old loud Rigid.

I love this compressor. It's really easy to work next to while it's running. You can hold a proper conversation. I haven't really thrown any heavy tasks at it yet, so it has kept up well. I'm sure it would keep up better than my old pep boys twin tank did. The weight on it is pretty nice with the aluminum tanks.

I usually don't drain the tank after uses. I just leave it sitting there and plug it in the next time I need it. I'll drain it every few months with my very light use. Draining it is not as fun as something like a Ridgid, with the up front drain valve. Has anyone had problems with this kind of maintenance schedule?

I live in a 55+ mobile home park and needed a q-u-i-e-t compressor, so I tried this, None of the *lols* around me even knew I had it. I used it to replace my roof and the only racket was the nail gun. The hose connectors leak, as others have noted, but I can replace them one of these days so it's not a big issue. It's true you can easily talk when it's running!
