It's great for metal fasteners and tight spaces, it gets into all the small corners where neither a full size nail gun nor a hammer would fit.
The small size is a perfect fit for my (large) hand, and squeezes into smaller places than the larger model palm nailer.
The magnet holds the nails well so you can drive them with one hand, just press and the nail is quickly hammered (vibrated?) into place.
You can stop early and leave the nail head up if you're just tacking things, or come back later and finish the nail flush.

This is another product that I give 5 stars, not because it is the best on the market (not industrial quality) but is a good deal for the low price. I had a project where I needed to drive 240 nails in tight, overhead areas could have done it with a hammer but my wrist and shoulder hurt just thinking about the prospect.Had this puppy in a couple days with Amazon Prime, quickly reviewed the instructions and 45 minutes later had the job done didn't even break a sweat.
Will probably submit a video of this in action because you have to see it to believe how easy it makes a job like this.
One word of caution, read the instructions about how to insert the nails. It's pretty easy to accidentally "fire" this thing if you are not focused every time you load a nail and I imagine even a preacher would have some choice words if it fired with his/her finger over the nail point.

I was very impressed with both the size and the power. Was able to sink a 3.5" spiral shanked nail with ease. The only disappointment is that the nail opening is rather narrow. The majority of common framing nails will fit, but if you try something with a bit larger head, it won't. Forget Roofing nails! This is the only palm nailer I've used, so I don't know how the opening compares to other brands/models. The speed of this nailer does not come close to a good nail gun, and the fatigue factor will be a lot higher. So it's great tool for tight places, and small to moderate volumes of nails, but if you are doing a large project, you might want to consider a stick nailer (preferable in addition to this nailer).Want Stanley Bostitch PN50 Mini Impact Nailer Discount?
This thing is too fine! When a hammer or nail gun won't get to the nail, this will. I just used it to install an electric box in an 8" stud space in a corner with a wall that prevented any kind of hammer or even a screwdriver from working. It's simply amazing. All of this comes from a guy who has been doing this kind of work for 40 years and who owns a gas powered nail gun, air powered nail guns and all kinds of hammers. You may not use this baby every day but when you do have a need, nothing else will get the job done.
Did I mention that it's very ergonomic in its shape?
Buy one and don't look back! This is a perfect little nailer that does the job with any size nail. I've shot joist hanger nails up to 16d common any they go in very fast.I am extremely pleased with this nailer.
