- Ingersoll Rand T-30 Select Compressor Oil - 1 Liter Bottle

- Ingersoll Rand T-30 Select Compressor Oil - 1 Liter Bottle
  • For Type-30 compressors
  • 1 liter bottle use of Ingersoll Rand All Season Select Lubricant extends the life of your compressor pump warranty by 1 year

This stuff isn't real easy to find. My Northern Tool store that sells Ingersol Rand compressors doesn't have it. It is critical to good life of an air compressor to do 2 things, keep fresh, specified synthetic oil in the crankcase and keep the air filters functional.

I have a new I-R floor model small compressor I bought this summer, a twin cylinder model. I want to be sure and run the recommended oil in it. These compressors aren't cheap, and running good oil only seems to make sense. My oldest boy has a smaller I-R at his house that is ready for oil, so one of these bottles is for him.

Both of the I-R compressors are very nice, and I expect to keep them going for many years. I also have a smaller size portable Costco special that is several years old and used fairly regularly and hard. I have used Mobil 1 in it in the past, but while the synthetic base stock provides excellent lubrication, the additives in gasoline engine oils are not useful in compressors and in fact can cause problems with reed valve function and piston ring sticking because the additives "coke up" into carbon deposits. So, this time around, I changed out the oil in that one for this All Season Select.

Every Ingersol-Rand compressor or air tool I have ever bought has been the very highest quality and durability, from small air grinders up to 25hp screw compressors. In every case, it pays to use the absolute best components and supplies in these machines. I believe this will significantly extend the usable life of the compressor.

In fact, I'd recommend this oil for use in ANY small oil lubricated, reciprocating piston air compressor, not just I-R.

Highly Recommended

Power Bright PW6000-12 Power Inverter 6000 Watt 12 Volt DC To 110 Volt AC

Power Bright PW6000-12 Power Inverter 6000 Watt 12 Volt DC To 110 Volt ACFrom Lowe's (same author) This inverter has so far (about three weeks of use) proven reliable and easy to use. The question is does the average person need a "6000" watt inverter. From what I've learned, it depends mainly on what your appliance starting loads require, not the operating load. If you're going to run a modern refrigerator or microwave oven I've found the 3000 watt starts and runs ok. But I wouldn't recommend it for the big microwave ovens--the 3000 watt unit just can't keep up with the demand. A small airconditioner that has a 1000 watt operating consumption may well require 4000-5000 watts over 5-10 seconds to start its compressor. The 3000 watt inverter has been known to kick off line after only a couple of seconds at 4500 watts and therefore won't start the airconditioner. This 6000 watt inverter does well here with plenty of operating juice to keep stuff running, but puts a real drain on the batteries.

Also worth noting is this 6000 watt inverter seems to maintain more voltage stability--I've run it at around 3000 watts and the its output voltage never dropped below 118 VAC and its frequency remained steady at 59-60 cycles per second.

Botom line is that to-date, I'm very satisfied with the 6000 watt inverter's performance and reliability

First I bought a small inverted thinking it will be enough to power up a big air condition and it failed. Then, I bought this humongous powerful inverter and at first it also failed. Their customer service is GREAT explain the problem. I was connecting the inverter with gauge 4 cables and it was powering up most stuff, but when it came to the 10,000 BTU air condition it failed. Then, they told me to change does weak gauge 4 cables and get gauge 0. After, that it was a beauty. This is hooked up with 2 106AH marine battery for now which I am going to put 10 in total. They are being charge by solar panels for now I only have 360 watts with gauge 4 wires, later I will put for 1000 watts of solar panels.

Quick update, the A/C actually sucks about 4,600 watts for a good 10 seconds before it drops down to regular watt at 890 watts. Sense this thing actually is 6,000 watts and 12,000 peak there is no problem. With does 2 106AH marine battery it last just over 1 hour at night and 1h20min at night.

The inverter was exactly what I needed and it works very wells.. Has enough power to handle every thing we have plugged in to it, fridge, microwave, coffee pot and still has plenty of power, but is very heavy.. weighs 35 pounds..next time I will request different boxes for shipping.. The remote was damaged when the inverter moved around inside the box, smashed to into several pieces, but I called and it was taken care of immediately.. So I am a very happy customer.

We installed this unit and it worked for about two weeks then stopped working. We turned on the lights one morning and smoke started to poor out of the back of this unit. We quickly shut off the lights and unplugged the unit from the batteries. We tried the unit again latter that day, same thing, smoke. I am currently looking for another option at this point. Amazon was good to accept this return. However, I was bummed to have to pay the $65.00 UPS shipping and insurance.

IIT 10040 18-Piece Pneumatic Air Compressor Accessory Kit

IIT 10040 18-Piece Pneumatic Air Compressor Accessory Kit
  • Complete set of air accessories - essential for every professional and DIY workshop
  • Includes brass quick-connect coupler, female & male-threaded connectors & adapter
  • 6" dual-head tire chuck, tire pressure gauge, inflating tips for sports balls & water toys
  • Blow gun with over-sized squeeze trigger, rubber tip, cleaning brush & specialty tips
  • Valve stem tool with valve remover, stem adapters and replacement valves

I bought this product. The moment i hooked it up, i could tell something was wrong. The tools included with mine leaked air constantly. It caused the compressor to keep running and the tool attached to keep working (when you didnt want it to). This wass especially problematic when i had it attached to a paint sprayer. It caused it to keep spraying when i released the handle.

Let's just say, one of the reasons I love amazon is because they have a great return policy.

Craftsman 9-15200 5 Gallon Horizontal Air Tank with 135 Pounds Per Square-Inch

Craftsman 9-15200 5 Gallon Horizontal Air Tank with 135 Pounds Per Square-Inch
  • Portable
  • 135 pounds per square-Inch
  • 1 handle
  • 3-Foot long high pressure air hose
  • 5 gallons

I bought this tank at my local Sears and picked it up at the store for $26. There was a noise from inside the tank so I remove the top valve and emptied out about a 1/8 cup of small metal balls which probably came from the wielding process and that's why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. The tank hols pressure for a long time with no leaks and the gauge seems to be accurate. I am going to replace the hose because it is to short and I can't change the fitting at the end because it is one piece but all of the tanks that I saw had the same design. I also added three rubber feet to the bottom because there isn't any protection at all. It seems every time I buy a craftsman product I end up have to adjust or modify the item before I can put it to use. The pressure gauge does seems to read correctly and the on off valve is plastic so we will see how long it will last.

WARN 71800 PowerPlant Air Compressor and Winch

WARN 71800 PowerPlant Air Compressor and Winch
  • Premium on-board air compressor and a winch with fast line speed perfect for off-road enthusiasts
  • Air up tires and power air tools rapidly, such as an impact wrench for changing a tire
  • Self-contained unit is easy to install with no additional wiring or plumbing necessary
  • Additional accessories let you use the PowerPlant to its maximum potential
  • Includes hand-held remote control with thermometric indicator

So far, this thing has been amazing. I actually end up using the compressor quite a bit more than I expected. I coupled it with a WARN 73938 PowerPlant Auxiliary Air Tank and two 3/8" x 25' Goodyear Rubber Air Hoses [Yellow] to route from the winch under the car (04 Jeep Wrangler), and back to the spare "battery tray" under the hood where I added a filter and regulator. With that setup, it will run an impact wrench long enough to pull wheels, air up tires, run a cutoff wheel for a few minutes, et cetera. The battery drain is relatively low for the compressor too; I have run it all day two days in a row over a weekend to work on another car, and the Jeep still fired right up on Monday (Diehard Platinum battery).

As for the winch, there's not much to say, it's a Warn & hasn't let me down at all. Battery load is comparable to other winches, maybe a bit better, though it's unloaded pull speed is slower than most of their other 9500 LB winches, likely due to the compressor. I wish you could get them bare, as I prefer synthetic line, but pulling the steel line off wasn't too big a deal. I did have to trim part of the cover to mount it, as it would not clear the winch-protecting tube on my bumper. It is a very big & heavy, but that is to be expected being both a compressor and winch.

The only disappointing part to me has been compatibility with the WARN 76080 Winch Wireless Control System. It will work for line in & out, but has no means (that I can find) to turn on the compressor, which would have been nice.

Overall, this winch is nearly perfect for what I need, and if you compare it to pricing another winch and on-board-air setup, I think the price/weight/performance is right too.

I got this winch within days of ordering. It came greatly packaged and easy install. It runs air tools great and inflates 35 inch tires from 12 psi to 32 all four less tham 12 minutes. The winch works flawlessly and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a great winch and air compressor. It is way faster than any decicated air system that mounts under the hood.

This works great and was very easy to mount. Given the cost of an on board air system and winch, the price isn't out of line. I had no room under the hood for an air system and this solved all my problems and I am very happy and confident with it.

Want WARN 71800 PowerPlant Air Compressor and Winch Discount?

Bought the 12k Powerplant HD last yer and have only used the compressor. I attached a Warn 2.5 gal tank with a pressure gauge and I use a Flexzilla hose (1/2"x50'). This setup provides lots of volume; however, the Warn only pumps out about 85 psi max, as registered on e analog gauge I installed on the tank. Using an impact wrench kind of taxes setup.
