Bought the product, worked great for a few months, turned it on after winter and circuits blew. Customer service was helpful and friendly at first, but quickly soured when it looked like they'd have to replace to product as per their warranty. Have interrogated my AC installation company, contacted village office to examine permits, will stop at nothing to avoid having to replace the units. Won't even sell me the replacement parts (they don't come separate). Maddeningwould have rather fought in the Tet Offensive.

I am a retired aircraft technician. I installed this unit in a room with 50% glass walls. This room was so hot, it was not useable. Now we can make it unbareablty cold if we wish! The installation was a snap just use a little common sense. I do admit that the installation manual is shallow! The only special tool I needed was a vacuum pump. I got one from harbor freight, it worked great. The setup instructions are fine. I live in S, NJ and hope it heats as good as it cools.

All in all we love the Klimaire unit.

Unless you happen to have a diploma in HVAC and have the equipment to go along with it and have a friend to help lift a 130 lb outside unit, do not even think about installing this yourself....so expect to spend an extra $200-500 for installation. I am very handy with electronics and drilling holes through brick, but, we had to hire an electrician (outside switch), who has done this before, and an HVAC man to pump out the lines. The latter is absolutely necessary, regardless of what others say. The former, if you are intuitively proficient with electrical connections, is possible to accomplish if you can find the connections....and able to bend copper tubing without kinking it. Unless you have a tube-bender, strong, careful hands will do. The instructions leave something to be desired. They literally suck.

However, once installed, this thing is no less than fantastic. It will cool our entire 1300 sq. ft. downstairs with 10 ft. ceilings from 95 degrees to 76 degrees and to 55% humidity in about 30-40 minutes. Even our second floor, after about an hour has its temperature and humidity reduced to livable levels though we did not expect that.

As far as heating goes, we will find that out this winter...and I will update this review then. It is supposed to be efficient down to 5 degrees.

UPDATE 12/11/2011

Last night the temperature dipped to 14 degrees F. The unit warmed the entire downstairs....worked perfectly. According to the specs, this unit draws 38 volts DC (DC inverter technology) of electricity and uses 400 watts connected to a 220 volt circuit. We shall see when we get our energy bills. I will update again when the temperature drops into the single digits.

Regardless of the instruction manual, I just raised this Klimaire unit's rating to 5 stars. It exceeds the performance we were expecting.

Update 1/16/2012

Temperature in our area last night was officially 10 degrees F. At our home, it reached 6 degrees. The unit is producing heat at an adequate rate to still keep our kitchen and downstairs comfortable.

Worked in a theater crippled by this quickly broken Klimaire air conditioner unit. Out of four purchased one came broken, and two others broke with two weeks (within three months all four were broken). 9 months of back and forth with the company has so far only wasted everyone's time, and instead of trying to solve the problem the company has actively sought to make things harder on the theater. Positively stunned by their actions, so much so that I'm writing my first product review.

This is the worst product I have ever bought. The compressor went out after 3 months. It was covered under warenty, so I sent the unit back to Florida and the company sent a new unit, which stopped working after 2 weeks. I have wasted over $2,000 in repairs and shipping cost. The warrenty does not cover shipping or labor. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT !!!!!!!

Bought the slightly larger model , was very worried that it would be noisy. Turned out that you can barely hear it working, sounds no more than a refrigerator. Very smooth function, highly recommend.

I bought this product. The moment i hooked it up, i could tell something was wrong. The tools included with mine leaked air constantly. It caused the compressor to keep running and the tool attached to keep working (when you didnt want it to). This wass especially problematic when i had it attached to a paint sprayer. It caused it to keep spraying when i released the handle.

Let's just say, one of the reasons I love amazon is because they have a great return policy.

20 Ton Hydraulic Shop Press

I have very mixed emotions about rating this product. Item arrived ahead of schedule and it was in scratch free condition. Instructions were more then adequate for assembly. Press arrived with a spreader bar (controls the bottom spacing of arbor) that was 3" to long. This caused the bottom of the arbor (Formed a triangle) to be 3" to wide and this caused the press platform to fall off the rods that supported the press platform. Due to this problem the lower 5 adjusting positions became unusable and very unsafe. I repaired the spreader bar (If I did not have a welder this repair would have presented more of a problem) to the correct length and this press worked fine.

I really wanted to see how good the customer service was for this product, so I sent and e-mail to Pro-line Trading (Through Amazon) and explained that the spreader bar that I received was 3" to long. E-Mail response was very quick (1 Day) and polite, Received (2) more responses that did not really resolve my problem but seeing that I had already made the repair, I felt good that customer service was as good as it was, although there still is a problem somewhere.

All in all, this arbor has turned out to be a GREAT addition to my tools and I cannot believe that I waited so long to get it. I will say that the freight cost for this item was almost as much as the cost of the arbor. If I was to order this part again, I would surely look for a local supplier and see if cost would be reduced due to shipping cost. 20 ton unit is likely an over kill, but cost difference between 12 ton & 20 ton unit was so close that it would be hard not choose the 20 ton unit.

So I am only giving this product a rating of (4) only due to the problem of the incorrect spreader bar being supplied but I do have to say that Amazon and Pro-line both did a good job with their customer service.

Purchased in June 2011 when I received it the shipping box was torn and some of the parts were scratched, but overall it was okay. Very easy to assemble even Without instructions,, the picture is good. I used the press to remove a bearing on an outdrive shaft and it worked perfecttly. I've used it seceral times already, I should have bought it along Time ago, it sure makes jobs a lot easier. It was a good buy. Highly recommended for small shop or home garage.

This press was probably my worst Amazon experience ever. Shipping was too expensive to return it, so I had to make due. The hydraulic jack would not hold so it had to be replaced. The slide that the jack mounts to; was built so poorly and the press pin so crooked that it would cock-off to one side so much that it would bind. It was easiest just to build a new one. The legs and the bottom spreader were so flimsy that I just built new ones that were much heavier. Now it works perfectly, since I've contributed and additional hundred bucks or so in materials and six or eight hours of labor.
