The first one I received leaked air on the filter side. Try to wiggle, reset, re-lock it, no go. I had to send it back on my own dime, which I did not care for. Received a new one in a few days, but had to wait on the seller to get the defective one back. So this was a pain to deal with. Hooked the second one up and it did not leak. After a week of normal use the oil side started leaking air and oil. Now I have to send it back again, a second time. I'll be getting a refund. I'm dissappointed the seller was unwilling to pay for shipping. I'm out nearly $20.00 on this deal. What a loss. I would avoid I.R. and this seller.

Works well, looks good. Bowls are an easily detachable 1/4 turn lock style and don't leak air.

These are a stackable type design; by that I mean the oiler and the regulator/filter are individual units joined together by the aluminum rack mounting piece in the middle and an o-ring between them. Each end of each unit is also threaded, AND has a seat for the oring and tabs for rack mount coupler. You can separate them and use fittings between if you like, or put the oiler on the left. You could also add additional filters of the same form factor from IR by getting more of the little silver couplings between.

I like it and I trust the brand name, but its new and I can't comment on durability. Replacement filters are a few dollars-I checked.

Well engineered, a little more plastic than I would have expected but it works as described. The levelwind is a plus just pull back on the hose and walk it in.

Love the 100' hose length. The reason I ordered it. I was disappointed in the spring tension when rewinding it. Although it is adjustable, the instructions recommend only tightening 1 turn past its factory setting. I had to go 3 turns past that just to get it to rewind the hose all the way! Seems OK otherwise, considering it is plastic. Just with the reviews I read, it would be a little "sturdier".

If you live in a cold climate you will probably want to replace the air hose with an all rubber hose. Also, either the length of the 100ft of hose or the restriction of the hose connection at the reel, or both, gives a noticeable drop in air supply compared to a 50ft hose connected directly to the compressor. When airing up tires it is no problem but does cut back on your impact wrench power. I'm not marking the reel down for these conditions because those concerns are just physics issues and for $120 it is still a good buy. The reel part, the swivel, the mounting, and the quality are all fine. Update: I replaced the 100ft hard plastic hose with a rubber hose. The air pressure/volume returned and the rubber hose is much nicer to work with. The OD of the rubber hose is much larger than the plastic hose. A 75ft rubber hose might be a snug fit inside the reel. Legacy had to use the plastic hose to get 100ft to fit. Also, the spring tension was way tighter than I like it from the factory so I followed the instructions to lessen the pull by several turns. Now it pulls out easily and still returns on its own gracefully.

I started with a pretty sour taste for this product. The first one that I received did not retract no matter what. Luckily Amazon was great about taking it back and shipping me another -all on their expense. The second works great. It's kind of cheaply built and I wonder how long it will last, but since this is just for my work shop it should last long while. I would definitely not buy this if you were going to use it all day, every day.

I've had it for two months now and it's still working just fine after being used a good amount. I do like the way it winds the hose as it retracts and even when it's out 80' or more it still has enough power to pull it in.

I got this same compressor as part of a combo deal. I am a homeowner not a contractor, so I needed a compressor for jobs around my house. If you buy any 6 gallon 2hp compressor at HD or Lowes it will be $250 minimum. For the proice this is a great deal. The compressor is solid, works great and has a quality look and feel to it. I use it for trim work, baseboards, and occasionally painting and grinding. Works great!

It's a great little compressor, and the reconditioned one I bought here runs like brand new. The tank charged right up and holds steady.

I won't pretend it isn't loud, because it is. In fact it makes me jump every time it cycles on. But it's meant for use in construction, not in a library. If you're looking for a quieter compressor, there are other options, like the lighter duty DEWALT D55140 Trim Compressor.

I'm most pleased with saving the money over the cost of a new one. There were a few scuffs on the tank, but nothing I wouldn't cause myself in a few weeks of use anyway.

Incidentally, nothing comes in the box but the compressor and the manual. You'll need to get a hose and accessories separately.

Got it right on the second try. The shipping carton allows the compressor to shift about and break the plastic housing without any obvious external damage to the packaging.

I bought this compressor because my buddy had good performance with a Q89 compressor. I did not realize the performance increase from the Q89 to the Q90 was so vast. We both run 38 x 12.50 x 15 tires on our Jeeps. The Q89 takes three minutes to pump each tire from 6 PSI to 30 PSI. The Q90 takes only two minutes per tire. I love the performance.

Three issues with the compressor:

1) The compressor draws about 40 amps from the battery, if you have the engine off while pumping up four tires, the engine is slow to crank. If you pump up eight tires, the Jeep needs a jump to get started. I may be experiencing battery end-of-life, but I have learned to let the engine run during tire filling. Running the engine while pumping runs the compressor measurably faster and significantly reduces refill time.

2) The compressor head and outlet pipe get very hot during use. The handle is too hot to handle after pumping up four 38 inch tires. The hose disconnect is too hot to handle with bare hands after pumping up two 38 inch tires. The plastic hose supplied with the kit melted next to the hose disconnect. It did not fail, but the distortion makes it look like it is going to fail. I replaced it with a rubber hose that handles the heat much better.

3) The screw on valve attachment was rather restrictive. When I replaced the plastic hose with the rubber hose, I also replace the screw on valve attachment with a NAPA clip on inflation valve. The compressor now runs cooler, draws less current, fills the tire faster, and it is faster to move from tire to tire around the Jeep.

About half the people that have used my compressor want to buy one to replace the one they have now.

One thing about my application: I pump my tires up to only 30 PSI, therefore the 150 PSI capability is not required. The design could be improved by having a user adjustable cutoff switch to turn the compressor off when a final pressure is reached. If the compressor is running and forgotten while the engine is off, then the tire will be unsafely overinflated and the battery will be dead.

This stapler/nailer barely performs for even the most remedial tasks.I would not suggest buying this item when there are much more affordable tools out there that out perform it.I bought the old style hand held staple gun,had zero problems and completed my project.As a stapler this thing works okay,but it wont drive brads through the thinnest of materials and bends half the nails it does drive.Nothing but a bad attempt at what is supposed to be a helpful tool,and I am a huge fan of Ryobi products.

I have used longest 9/16 staples, and they could not punch together 1/4 plywood and 1/2 MDF. The bearingly punched 1/4 plywood through, forget about the MDF.

I could use it or P301 for running staples around loose upholstery on your chair or sofa. BUT I would not use it for lumber work: wood, hardwood, plywood, or MDF. Too weak! Use compressor staplers instead.

What a great concept, portable, no hoses or cords to incumber you. However, as a brad nailer it does not perform well. It would not seat a 1-1/4 inch brad through a half inch vinyl quarter round to a pine baseboard. I leaves about 1/8 inch of the brad protruding. In addition, accuracy on a small piece is a challenge with the wide driving end of the tool larger than the piece. I had a similar problem fastening 3/4 inch wood trim, The brads are not driven completely into the piece, regardless of the setting adjustment. Trying to seat the protruding brads with a hammer presents another challenge, They inevitably bend over unless hit perfectly square.

Tried driving a 3/4" brad through a soft cedar fencing plank and the nailer couldn't even get the nail all the way through. The concept is good for a light and convenient compressorless tool, but it can't do its basic function of driving a nail.

I am a huge Ryobi One+ fan, but sadly this unit is not powerful enough to fully set any staple or brad nail into wood. Additionally, the strip of staples or nails falls apart in the loader so they get jammed and most of them have to be discarded.
