GoodYear 046 3/8-Inch-by-25-Foot Safety Orange Pliovic Industrial Hose

GoodYear 046 3/8-Inch-by-25-Foot Safety Orange Pliovic Industrial Hose
  • 3/8 inch x 25 feet ,300PSI
  • Oil-resistant
  • Can be used in all temperatures
  • Includes male brass ferrules and barbed fittings
  • Made in USA

This is a really nice hose. It is very heavy walled, which will hold 300 PSI and also resists kinking better than lightweight hoses. It is quite flexible which makes it easy to postion without cramping your work style. The ends require 1/4" NPT fittings. I like the orange color it stays bright and easy to see when it's strung accross the floor.

If you are looking for a durable, heavy-duty hose, here it is.

I like mine , the color is a bonus.

I dont use this type in cold weather as it gets too stiff. In the cold I use rubber. This is why I rated 3 stars .

Overall very good hose. Tough and visiable so there is no excuse for running over it with the bush hog. It can be hard to coil particularly in cold weather. That's why 4 stars not 5.

I have 3 50 ft. yellow rubber Goodyear hoses, but wanted a shorty for my portable compressor. The first time I hooked this up, it blew one of the ends off...turns out the crimp collar to hold the fitting to the hose was never put on one end. Amazin' Amazon replaced it, no problem, but it's still an extra trip to the post office to return it. Anyway, it's a decent inexpensive hose, but a little stiffer than the rubber ones. Fills the bill for portability.

This hose is very flexible and did not kink when I used it a number of times. It is light yet durable. Highly recommended.

Ampro A1460 18 Piece Air Tool Accessory Kit Milton Type

Ampro A1460 18 Piece Air Tool Accessory Kit Milton Type
  • Complete kit for professional or home use
  • Includes most popular air tool accessories
  • Corrosion resistant brass couplers & connectors

I just received this in the mail. I selected free shipping and waited for these to come so I could use my new air compressor.

When it arrivedI was was shocked to notice that there was one piece missing. This was especially odd since it is in clear packaging with each piece occupying a molded plastic space. No big deal since there were two more identical pieces, and I wouldn't need all three.

But... man do these things leak air. I used tephlon tape and wrenches to seal and tighten thembut they just wouldn't work. I wound up getting some quick attach pieces from my neighbor which work great.

Alsothe tire gauge and hand sprayer are CHEAP. I didn't care about the tire gauge, but the other piece I need/wanted. I feel like I could snap it into a few pieces with my bare hands. Not good.

Don't go cheap. Buy some quality parts.

Basically, here's what you get.

* A trigger nozzle for blowing air. It comes with a plastic reducer tip or a stepped brass tip if you want to fit it with an extension hose (handyI needed exactly that to blow the garbage out of a boxed car frame)

* A tire fill (handy)

* A 1/4" female quick coupler and assorted nipples and attachments (handy)

Others may have lucked out with tight fits but all of mine required plumbers tape when the nipples were installed. As far as them being solid brass, theoretically yeah, but they definitely went VERY heavy on the zinc and VERY light on the copper when they made the brass alloy. You pick up the fittings, they're light and tinny.

This is a good kit as a backup or for light duty homeowner use, but it will most definitely not last through heavy commercial/pro use. In my case, I bought a small pancake compressor for the shop that will serve in a backup/secondary role so these were OK to be tossed on a pouch, tied to the compressor and used for that.

Little stuff required tweaking. In addition to needing plumbers tape on the fittings, the trigger nozzle needed lube in the release piston since it was sticky and gritty, the plastic air tip still had injection flash around the hole and had to be opened up with an xacto in order to blow properly.

So, if you're just looking for a dirt cheap accessory kit, this is OK. It's cheap, it's serviceable, it contains some little random fittings that you might not think to buy individually but if you ever find yourself needing one, you'll be glad you had them on hand. If you need pro grade stuff or are someone who expects everything to last for a while, these ain't it. They're in that 'Harbor Freight' level of 'adequate quality with low expectations'.

Don't buy this stuff. The fittings are OK but the nozzle and chunk are junk. The allowed free air flow straight out of the box and were useless for anything other than kids toys or paperweights. The tire gauge is only passable but I didn't buy this set for this item. And, or course, Amazon was really helpful with the return.

Pros solid brass fittings.

Cons none. I wish they included a bag with fittings. i just keep my fittings in my bostitch 3 nailgun bag.

note talking to my friend he said the red handle on the air gun eventually weakens and gun eventually fails to work properly. i guess we'll see.

A nice affordable kit. Plenty of Fittings. The Tire gauge feels cheap and the handle is okay, not top notch, But it does the job. I recommeded it for home use.

PneumaticPlus SAR4000T-N04BG Air Pressure Regulator T-Handle 1/2" NPT with Gauge & Bracket

PneumaticPlus SAR4000T-N04BG Air Pressure Regulator T-Handle 1/2' NPT with Gauge & Bracket
  • Includes 0-150 PSI Pressure Gauge & Bracket
  • For Use with Compressors, Spray Guns & Other Air tools
  • Operating Temperature: -30 F to 175 F - 40 Micron Element Stanard
  • Manufacturerd In Korea

I needed a t-handle regulator, with gauge for my garage compressor, and new air lines that I installed. This worked perfectly, and is very well built. Nothing like the cheap units you'd find ON the compressor itself. Cost of this unit also was very good, in comparison to some of them I see listed.

Craftsman 150 PSI Air Compressor

Craftsman 150 PSI Air Compressor
  • Tire chuck

Used this compressor about 10-15 times and then the bottom screw broke. So that works out to about $10 to inflate a set of tires. The warranty was only one year.

Dealing with Sears products is an adventure that you will probably want to forego!! No service at the store. No service at the 800 number. In fact, they tell you to press two for warranties and then tell you that you pressed the wrong number!!!

Bad product, bad customer service.

At first i thought the unit was broke , i found it had to be on for about a minute for the pressure to build. it pumped my vehicle tire up in a manner of secondes like at the gas station. if you are looking for an air compressor for the home this is awesome.

Midwest Can (MWC7600) 5 Gallon Auto Shutoff Kerosene Can

Midwest Can 5 Gallon Auto Shutoff Kerosene Can
  • Meets new legal requirements for portable fuel containers
  • Shuts off automatically when your tank is full
  • Eliminates evaporative emissions
  • CARB Complaint

I live in the Northeast and suffered through both Hurricane Sandy and Blizzard Nemo. As bad as Sandy was no power for over ten days in a way Nemo was worse. First time the wind blew, power went out and stayed out for three days. But unlike Sandy, there was no way to get out my streets were under two feet of snow. Being trapped in the cold and dark was scary, and when the temperature dipped to 13 degrees the next night, I was really worried some pipes might burst.

After the storm, I decided to stock up on supplies and to keep a good supply of kerosene and other fuels in the house. The Midwest Can 5 gallon can was just what I wanted: blue (so I don't confuse it with gasoline), easy to pour and with a fairly sturdy auto-shutoff. A pair of these and my two kerosene heaters can probably keep my house from freezing for at least a day or two in an emergency.

Otherwise, what can you say about a kerosene can? It's rugged enough plastic and looks like it will last a long time. Glad to have it, as they are difficult to find locally and almost impossible in a storm.

Only issue is that the shipper was a bit slow about three weeks from order to delivery.
