Unlike another reviewer, I had no problems with air leaks. It handles 100 psi with no leaks. It may handle more, but I did not feel the need to test it at higher pressures then I normally use with my nailers. For nailers that normally do not get used in tight spaces, you can attach it pertinently. For my brad and finishing nailer, as well as my staplers, I put air fittings on one, and put it between the air line and the tool. That way, I can easily remove it if it is in the way. This also lets you use the same oiler on more then one tool.

About the only thing I would like to see is a psi rating on the oiler itself, or at least on the packaging.

Not sure what the pressure rating is on this thing, but it leaks terribly at 90 psi. The acrylic / brass combination just doesn't hold. I tried to tighten up the acrylic part, but the threads slip and it just keeps turning. I'm going for an all-metal inline oiler now. Valley brand 1/4" Airline Oiler. Item No: AIROIL-001.

everything good, but the end part where the thread is and the hose joins was not crimped on well so it leaks and the fitting and hose separated!! and with a half inch hose with all that air rushing out, is loud and dangerous... and i only had it for a couple months and used only a few times...

manufacture should look closely into that...

now I have to cut the hose reinsert the barb and tighten it with hose clamp...

reel, hose, bracket seems to be strong but dont know how long it will hold up...

BUT,

Company was very helpful!! the company asked me to explain what happen... i did.. asked me if I would want another hose, and sure enough they quickly sent another one out!!

That is what you you call customer service!! AAAAA+++++

I purchased three of these hose reels for my shop, two of them required disassembly and some major rework to get the ratchet pawl to engage. The pawl support was welded in different positions on all three creating the issue. One of them worked perfect out of the box. I wanted a Reelcraft or similar made in the USA product but the cost difference especially in the qty I required pushed me into the purchase of this reel instead. I hold my breath every time I buy something made in China and this purchase unfortunately reinforced my phobia. I am currently in the start up phase of a new shop so I think it worked out ok for me, the reel looks great and enhances the professional appearance of my building. Had I been open and actively working on customers jobs it would have cost me more money in lost time than I saved.

I have been looking at hose reels for a long time and was skeptical about reels made with plastic parts and synthetic hose. This is a high quality hose reel with heavy duty rubber hose and is made with steel parts. The locking mechanism works well and seems to be durable. Works well, stronger ratcheting than I probably would have liked, and longer spaces between ratchets than I'd prefer, but works very well. Bolted mine to the garage floor and it works very well.

I got this gun to replace my trusty the old type touch-up gun, it fell and broke the trigger. Being new, I hoped it would be better, but the was far from it. Putting the gun together, it felt good and "looked" nice. I ran some air through it and cleaned the cup and tip. I got set up and mixed a quart of PPG jet black. Once I loaded the gun, I noticed paint leaking out from behind the trigger somewhere. I activated the trigger a few times in hopes it woild seal. It got worse, now running out. So, I dumped the paint, cleaned up the gun, me, floor and bench. I took the trigger and needle out to see if there was a bad O-ring. There wasnt. The needle seal in this thing is a poor poor design. I adjusted it and even talked nice to it, but it would never seal. I have to say, cheaper is never better... Oh, and I lost around $60 worth of PPG paint too. Dont waist your time with this gun.
