Sure Shot (SUR2000) Plated Brass Sprayer

Sure Shot Plated Brass Sprayer
  • Sold Individually

This unit is much improved from a previous version I had about six years ago. The nozzle stopper is now a kind of rubber instead of a Teflon button. This new stopper doesn't leak at all. I just wish they made one that'll hold about twice as much.

It works well and holds air pressure for weeks w/o leaking down. I opted for the chrome finish because the more chrome, the better

I use this with brake cleaner, so thankfully no more rattle cans.

The product is famous for its quality and long life and I don;t doubt that.

Once filled a single pressurization with air is easily enough to spray the whole can (this was something I doubted before). But it is important to follow the instructions and only fill with liquid to 2/3 otherwise there is not enough volume for the compressed air.

The unit is bigger than a rattle can but you get much more fluid so it is better.

I use the pin stream which gives a nice direct, penetrating stream. An adjustable type nozzle with a mix of spray an stream would be nice but I always back my spray with compressed air at the same time (much more effective as the air "rubs" the dirt) so the lack of a spray isn't that important.

Overall 5 starts, I hope, and expect to use this for years to come.

Bosch SN350-20F Full Head Framing Strip Nailer

Bosch SN350-20F Full Head Framing Strip Nailer
  • Metal Strike Plate - Designed to take job-site abuse and positioning of lumber
  • Tool-less Adjustable Air Exhaust
  • Work Contact Element - With aggressive teeth - Grips work piece when toe nailing
  • Quick Release Magazine - Easily remove jammed nails without disassembly of tool
  • Tool-less Selectable Trigger - Easily Switch between bump and sequential fire

I own two Bostitch nail guns...N88WW and the FPT33. I am happy and cannot complain and they continue to serve me well. I picked up the Bosch because I had seen the Full Force technology videos and needed another nail gun for my crew. This gun does not disappoint and is a serious contender.

The gun looks sharp and is built solidly. Yes, it may be made in Taiwan, but the quality, fit, and finish is very well done. There are no visible o-ring seals or extraneous adjustable or moving parts. The metal end cap is not adjustable and does not need to be since it vents out the front. There are pictures showing the use of the end cap as a hammer to knock studs into position...don't do that.

This gun has a blue anodized aluminum quick release magazine...great for clearing jams...which my gun never did. The magazine is offset at an angle...it felt weird at first, but the improved line of sight and improved ergonomics are a welcome change from my Bostitch. To cock the magazine you pull the slide lock back and it locks in the full open position, load the nails, nudge the slide back and it disengages to push the strip nails towards the firing pin. It feels light and maneuverable with balance provided by an attached air hose. There is no framing hook, but you can buy it for another $25.

It has a built-in selectable trigger for single safety shot or bump fire. The trigger is fast and responsive.

Depth adjustment is handled by a red knurled sleeve/nut...it has a continuous threaded action with index points and index marks near the aggressively pointed nose/muzzle. The bounce recoil is acceptable, I haven't double fired yet.

This gun fires 30 degree paper tape nail strips...the same nails I load into my 33 degree Bostitch. This gun locates and shoots nails very accurately...out of 100 nails, maybe 2 had to be set by hammer. Yes, Full-force technology will be a force to be reckoned with. You have to maintain this gun with oil. I do want to bring the following to your attention:

The gun will always leave about 7 nails in the strip in the magazine...you cannot empty the magazine by firing. Some may consider this a flaw, others a safety design, and others may appreciate that they didn't shoot a bunch of blanks....leaving firing pin marks all over the sub-floor or roof deck with no nails.

The air fitting on the gun is a 3/8" threaded hole. Depending on your hose fittings and compressor setup...make absolutely sure you also pick up a 3/8" NPT male to 1/4" NPT female reducing adapter (~$4) and a 1/4" swivel fitting (~$4). All my equipment uses 1/4" fittings. I couldn't hook my gun up until the following morning stop to the hardware store.

Overall, this is one of my new favorite tools and I would recommend this to anyone.

I was pleased to find that this new Bosch SN-350 framing nailer lived up to my expectations. Sturdy stylish sleek.

I found that the tool body is more narrow than any of my other framing nailers. This allows me to see where the nail is going more readily. I bought this because of a video I saw on YouTube explaining this tool's new air flow design.

While I expected the tool to be a little lighter, the steel magazine components and overall ruggedness make it well worth a hefty tool at a hefty price.

I have many Bosch tools, so when I wanted my first nail gun I was glad to see that Bosch had just started making them. I am putting up a 10x12 shed and then converting a garage into living space, so I thought a nail gun would speed up the process and do a better job than hand-nailing. So far I really like this nail gun. I watched videos and read articles about nail gun accidents before attempting to use this nail gun, and sure enough my first shot was a double-shot (side-by-side). Even though I had read about the recoil/bounce/held-trigger phenomenon, I wasn't quite prepared for it. After that first shot there have been no problems--except several dry-fires when I ran out of nails in the magazine. I have read that pin nailers (and others?) have anti-dry fire mechanisms, but this gun doesn't. I haven't checked to see if other framing nailers have anti-dry fire, but it would be nice. Pluses: easy to load the nails, easy to adjust the nail depth, easy to see the target, easy to see how many nails are left (but you have to look!), confidence in Bosch quality. Minuses: no anti-dry fire, not used to the weight yet (but all framing nailers are heavy, right?), I don't think a joist hook came with the gun (if one is even available). I will probably be buying another Bosch nail gun for the interior work. By the way, I couldn't wait for the Bosch air compressors to reach retailers, so I bought the twin-tank Makita that is so highly regarded. So far, it has been great and I would buy it again. Very quiet for a compressor--but I have to get a cart to move it or my back will give out.

I have been using this nailer quite a bit, it is wonderful. It shoots several different nail types not only 20 but 30 degree also, paper or plastic collated.

The primary nail gun I have used is the big Hitachi, and the smaller size of this Bosch gun is nice. I compared it to the smaller Hitachi, but preferred the heavier build of this gun. Right in the design notes it tells of expecting the framer to use the gun to knock the studs into place, with that kind of research, you get the idea that this gun will hold up. The precision is way up there and the ergonomics are excellent.

MINI HVLP AIR PAINT SPRAY GUN Tools 4 Boat Car Detail

MINI HVLP AIR PAINT SPRAY GUN Tools 4 Boat Car Detail
  • Operation Pressure: 30 psi - Air consumption: 8 cfm
  • Pattern width: 190mm (7.5") - Minimum Hose Size: 1/4"
  • Air Inlet: 1/4"
  • Nozzle Size: 1.0 mm
  • 100 cc Plastic Cup Included!

I got this gun to replace my trusty the old type touch-up gun, it fell and broke the trigger. Being new, I hoped it would be better, but the was far from it. Putting the gun together, it felt good and "looked" nice. I ran some air through it and cleaned the cup and tip. I got set up and mixed a quart of PPG jet black. Once I loaded the gun, I noticed paint leaking out from behind the trigger somewhere. I activated the trigger a few times in hopes it woild seal. It got worse, now running out. So, I dumped the paint, cleaned up the gun, me, floor and bench. I took the trigger and needle out to see if there was a bad O-ring. There wasnt. The needle seal in this thing is a poor poor design. I adjusted it and even talked nice to it, but it would never seal. I have to say, cheaper is never better... Oh, and I lost around $60 worth of PPG paint too. Dont waist your time with this gun.

This flip countersink is a must have for the efficient carpenter. I don't remember them having so much play(in the retainer bearing) in the past, but that is a small issue. Assembled in the U.S.A. and a great value bought like this on it's own, and hard to find these days in the retail stores. Thanks Amazon!.......

Westward 6MR55 Air Gun Kit

Westward 6MR55 Air Gun KitGreat product. A little expensive, but its worth it. The venturi nozzle is amazing. Its a pretty strong vaccum for certain applications like trying to pull a negative reading on a digital gage or suck small amounts of liquids out of something.

The only complaint is... sometimes its hard to put the nozzles onto the blow guns because of the coupling mechanism it uses, but if your patient and don't break them, then it does not leak and works great.

I'm giving it 4 stars becuase the coned rubber sealing peice flew off it's fitting when testing a cylinder.

10 HP 120 Gallon Two Stage 3 Phase Air Compressor

10 HP 120 Gallon Two Stage 3 Phase Air Compressor
  • Rugged cast iron, oil-lubricated, two-stage pump made for heavy-duty commercial and industrial applications
  • Delivers up to 15,000+ hours of pump life
  • Durable stainless steel valves and ductile crankshaft
  • Reliable precision-balanced flywheel and low pump RPM
  • 10 HP tri-voltage NEMA motor

First of all this is no reflection on the company CPO themselves. They were most helpful in trying to resolve the problem and most profession in trying to deal with their Vendor, Campbell Hausefeld. Now not to say that the compressor is Awesome, it's that The compressor did not come with everything. There was no motor starter, heater, hookup, Or compressor oil to make the compressor useful. I had to purchase all those parts. Trying to contact the company was difficult at best, and would not return phone messages or Email. I have to give an average rating. CPO you guys are great. Campbell Hausefeld, Time to overhaul your customer service.

Iron Horse IHCT-10 10-Gallon 150 PSI Max Portable Air Tank

Iron Horse IHCT-10 10-Gallon 150 PSI Max Portable Air Tank
  • Portable air tank adds convenience
  • Rugged 150 PSI capacity
  • Provides maximum performance
  • Ideal for any shop, farm, or home
  • Includes regulator and gauge, air hose, and tire chuck.

I purchased the Iron Horse IHCT-10 10-Gallon 150 PSI Max Portable Air Tank and when it arrived, while still in the box, I noticed rust spots all over the tank. After I removed the tank, I conducted a leak test by adding about 40 PSI and then sprayed all connections with soapy water. The manifold connection going into the tank leaked so I tightened the manifold. Leaked worse so I removed the manifold and I found the same condition as a review for the Iron Horse 5-gallon tank. "The tank arrived in good condition (no dents/damage), but after further inspection I noticed the tank contained all kinds of debris internally. I had to disassemble the valve body and then spend hours fishing metal slag and chips, some so big in size they would not fit through the 3/4" threaded opening (I had to break-up some to remove). I would strongly suggest using an in-line filter if using this with an airbrush, tool, etc." No point in repeating the previous review. I cleaned the manifold threads, applied a high quality Teflon sealer to the threads and screwed it into the tank. It leaked worse than before. Had I tightened it any more I would have broken the manifold. There is absolutely no quality control with this product so I returned it for a more expensive 10-gallon tank. Same leak test and no leaks. BTW, the air hose is replaceable by unscrewing it from the manifold, but the chuck is not replaceable. I forgot to mention that the paint was flaking off the pressure gauge. I initially gave it a one star due to quality control then changed my one star rating to a two star rating only because the air tank did what it was designed to do, but it lacked quality control when compared with the replacement tank. The rust may or may not be an isolated case.

i was hoping to get something that would hold air. This definitely DOES NOT do that. this product sucks. do not buy this product.

They neglect to mention that the air hose is SOLDERED TO THE AIR OUTLET. If you wanted to use it with a different hose, too bad. Product should be named "ten gallon portable tire inflater".

Want Iron Horse IHCT-10 10-Gallon 150 PSI Max Portable Air Tank Discount?

I bought these tanks specifically to use them as expansion tanks in my air system due to their 150 PSI rating. When they arrived I was immediately impressed by the quality of the fittings they used and the nice braided airline. I actually just bought a third unit today they are a far cry from the cheap units you see that hold less pressure.

I wanted to expand my Makita MAC2400 Big Bore 2.5 HP Air Compressor's capacity, which has two 1/4" quick couplers. I knew, from reading the reviews, that the Iron Horse was set up for tire inflation; that connection is a 1/2" thread into the IH tank -I had to use a impact wrench to get it out. I used a 1/2" to 3/8" reducer from HD, along with a 1/4" quick coupler to suite my needs. I now have a portable tank that I can easily fill, move, or simply expand the Makita's capacity.
