This is an incredibly handy set that I am SO glad I purchased.

As I'm sure most people do, I think I have about 10 different accessory sets in my toolbox at this point and most of them are more of the same a bunch of #2 phillips bits, a bit holder and some assorted other driver bits. This kit has a few things that really make it stand out. #1, it includes 3 different socket sizes in it as well as an adaptor that allows you to attach any standard 1/4" drive socket to your driver. It also includes some very high quality drill bits in commonly used sizes, but the star of the show for me is the "flip bit." This is an incredibly cool little invention. On one end you have a #8 countersink bit and on the other you have a #2 phillips bit and with the included sleeve adaptor, you can switch between them within seconds which comes in EXTREMELY handy when doing finish carpentry.

I own a number of makita tools (including their outstanding LXT impact driver) and like all of those, this is top quality and I would recommend it to anyone who has an impact driver and needs a starter kit.

Shame on you Makita! The 1/8 drill bit broke on it's first use. The adapter that holds the drill bitphilips head wont lock down on the insert. I'm building a deck. I used the philips head and the deck screw broke the bit. Check your quality control...please! I love my 10.8 ion lithium impact and drill set. They're powerful...too powerful for your cheap bits. I waited too long to get a refund. Don't make the same mistake. Buy 'em, use 'em, break 'em (they self destruct) and send them back within 60 days. If enough of us to this maybe Makita will get the message and build powerful bits to match their machines.

I've been using the kit for a week for multiple jobs with a Makita Impact driver and a drill machine.

The drills are good, no wobbling.

The driver bits have worn out way too quickly for my liking. I think it's better to just get a set of low-medium quality driver bits with impact drivers.

My real gripe is the flip bit, the drill on it wobbles too much to make a quality drill. I could really see it being very useful, but because it failed so hard I had to use both a drill machine and my impact driver for my simple job.

I bought the Makita 3 piece drill set with lithium ion battery's which is a great drill set. So I figured the bit set would be great to. I used ONE bit for about 15 seconds on some cheap screws to hang some blinds and the bit was completely ruined. They obviously use the lowest quality soft metal to make these. I'm in construction and I have never seen a bit go to waste so fast. DON'T BUY. GET A DeWalt set instead.

I was hoping for a versatile tool but it turns out to be junk. The blow gun wand doesn't work no matter how much I mess with it. Nothing comes out of it and I can't figure out why. The air chuck lets out so much air it's hard to tell if you're getting any in. I'm now doing what I should have done in the first place and buy quality separate pieces.

This is a great small compressor for interior trim work. Exceptionally quiet. So quiet if you are working in a house with a radio on and the compressor is in a different room you won't hear it. This compressor is slightly different than other small compressor I have used. It has a 1Hp motor and plenty of power. It has a high volume direct drive pump,producing about 2CFM @ 90psi ( sorry I do not have the exact specs). One motor and 2 compressor heads. It weighs about 38 pounds, light enough to carry easily, but slightly heaver than some of the other small airless compressors on the market. Rolair compressors have always been a top of the line unit, you can see they used top quality components, but you can see the bare bones approach to the design to keep the cost down. So many of the other compressors on the market use inferior components to keep the cost down, and it shows in the operation.

It has a typical cartridge air filter, very good quality gage's that really work, A high quality type M universal hose coupler, and good quality materials, and components throughout. It obviously is not a continuous run compressor, like most oil less units, but I was not able to find a duty cycle for this unit. It still has plenty of air to run 2 trim guns, or to do other small jobs. My complaints are minor. The hand grip could be improved, it would be just as easy to carry this with out any grip on it. The anti vibration feet on my unit were not installed square to the frame, so it dose not sit as well as it should. The electric cord has no place to wind up, if it had a cord snap on the plug at least you could wrap it around the frame and snap it to itself. I would also like to see 2 hose connectors in stead of one. All in all this is a top quality, provisional grade, compressor at a very reasonable price.

This compressor ROCKS!!! It's not made to run all day or run a lot of guns. But if you do trim or cabinets, this is perfect. It has enough power to run a 18ga and 15ga nailer and drive it into 2 inch thick oak. It will not disturb others in the work environment. I used it to install cabinets in a open office environment and no complaints of too much noise or oil leaking on the carpet. It really dose what it was intended for. I rate 5 stars!! Rolair knocked it out of the park on this one!! If you want a light weight and really quite compressor.this is the one!! Made in the USA!!

I was worried this might be a bit overhyped, but holy moly! This thing is quiet! It came on with a purr, aired up in less than a minute and I sunk a good 10 or so finish nails before it cycled on again. It refills in about 8-10 seconds. Very consistent. Wonderful.

My last portable compressor was one of the cheaper pancakes. It did the job, sort of, but I hated that thing! Loud doesn't begin to describe that banshee! Imagine someone shaking a coffee can half full of bolts in your ear for 10 minutes. I'll make concessions for power, but that thing didn't offer any of that either. For all the noise it made, it couldn't keep up with this Rolair, I'll tell you that. I finally burned it up forcing it to keep up on a roofing job. Went Office Space on it. Good riddance. Worst money I've ever spent on a compressor.

This little compressor only cost $50 more than that howler monkey, so this little Rolair is a dream for me. Like complete opposites.

Not sure yet how it will stand up, but so far it has kept up with every nailer I use. From the finish nailers down, it keeps up easily. With the larger nailers, like my roofing and framing nailers, it will keep up at a slower pace, but I wouldn't put a continous duty cycle like that on one of these. For small jobs, no problem though, and the lightweight pleasant nature of it makes it a joy to use. It is no heavier than a kettlebell, so I can flip it over a shoulder and walk up a ladder with it. It is squarely framed and sits squat, so it is stable in the back of my truck or I can toss it on a seat for transport. I like to keep him on the seat so I can pet him while I'm driving. He likes that. Just kidding, but seriously, I'm loving this little thing. It's like R2D2.

The comments others have made about the viewing angle of the guages I would agree with. It sits so low that viewing the guages takes a tilt to accomplish and when you're swapping guns often that slows you down. I don't care, I'll relocate the guages. I love this little guy.

Actually got this for 189.00 at tools plus.At the time amazon was 200. It is whisper quiet and easy to haul around. I looked extensively at the Bostitch 1512 and the Mac 700 which are also excellent choices. Thing that sold me on this was Dave Reinhold's video for tool nut on you tube.It does everything I need it to do from light framing to extensive trim work,could not be happier.

The unit overall is excelent, works good (charger,radio,aux for ipod and outlets) and the sound is "ok" for a work radio.

I recived this radio for X-mass. Radio works fine. Recp. is good in all locations so far. The only problem I am having is the outlets do not hold what ever is pluged into them. I will be taking mine to the Dewalt repair shop to see if they can replace the outlets.
