New Pilot Discharge Unloader Valve Check Valve for gas air compressor 95-125 psi

New Pilot Discharge Unloader Valve Check Valve for gas air compressor 95-125 psi
  • 1/2" Female NPT Inlet x 1/2" Female NPT outlet - 30 scfm - w/ hand unloader
  • 95-125 psi - (check out our throttle control cables for gas compressor listings)
  • Free Shipping

I wanted to build an air compressor out of parts that had come mostly from other compressors that I had had over the years, I wanted a gas engine powered compressor, so I took the tank and the pump and located a proper sized gas engine and built a deck to bolt to the tank and then bolted the pump and the motor on to the deck, using this Unloader to regulate the pressure building in the tank, for a continuous run unit the unloader works like the pressure switch on an electric motor compressor. it controls the air going into the tank or lets it exit to the atmosphere,

one still wants to use a safety relief valve as well, I also added the throttle control as well that when the unloader says the compressor is full, it lets the engine go to a idle until air is called for again an then it speeds up the engine and fills up the tank, '

It works well and even on a small tanked electric compressor it will let the motor keep running and not on on and off, I had an unloader on a compressor I used in construction and had both a unloader and pressure switch and by switching to by pass the pressure switch the the unit would then run with the unloader for operations that would cause the motor to rapidly start and stop, it worked well for some operations, (would use it for nailing roof and floor decks)

The hose split looks to be very well built. I bought it for a friend who let me use their shop thought it would be a nice gift. He appreciated it very much!

I was tired of constantly changing nail guns and this coupler did the trick. Its brass and seems solidly made. I've used it on several tasks and found it to be useful. Does what you'd expect. My 4 star rating indicates that this item met my expectations (but did not exceed them). I would recommend this item.

GMC SYCLONE 4620A Ultra Quiet & Oil Free Air Compressor

GMC SYCLONE 4620A Ultra Quiet & Oil Free Air Compressor
  • Ultra Quiet - Only 70 decibels - 30% less than other brands
  • Oil-Free - No Maintenance - 3000 hour life cycle
  • Powerfull 2.0 Hp Rated/Running
  • 7.00 CFM @ 40 PSI & 5.30 CFM @ 90 PSI - Max 125 PSI
  • 4.6 Gallon Aluminium Tank -64 lbs - Rust Free

This GMC 2HP compressor is fantastic. Aside from the notable increase in power over a 1HP unit, IT IS SO MUCH QUIETER!!!!!

REALLY, the You Tube video is a bit dramatic but the machine makes the point, it is quieter and fills quicker. The tanks are also not steel which means that while you do need to empty the tank of water after each day's use, not worrying about rust is nice.

Got two instead of one. I thought the second box is an accessory, but it was just one more of the same. It took a month to send it back. Didn't bother much, but inconvenient.

They need to sell this at Home Depot! But of course they won't the other compressor's sales would plummet. I've only had mine for a few weeks but I'm loving it. It's so quiet and pressures up so fast that I use it way more than I ever used my old loud Rigid.

I love this compressor. It's really easy to work next to while it's running. You can hold a proper conversation. I haven't really thrown any heavy tasks at it yet, so it has kept up well. I'm sure it would keep up better than my old pep boys twin tank did. The weight on it is pretty nice with the aluminum tanks.

I usually don't drain the tank after uses. I just leave it sitting there and plug it in the next time I need it. I'll drain it every few months with my very light use. Draining it is not as fun as something like a Ridgid, with the up front drain valve. Has anyone had problems with this kind of maintenance schedule?

I live in a 55+ mobile home park and needed a q-u-i-e-t compressor, so I tried this, None of the *lols* around me even knew I had it. I used it to replace my roof and the only racket was the nail gun. The hose connectors leak, as others have noted, but I can replace them one of these days so it's not a big issue. It's true you can easily talk when it's running!

Fenix Remote Switch (TK12, TA20, TA21)

Fenix Remote SwitchWorks great, switches on the pad are a little finicky, the regular switch is great. It's very nice to have 2 different on/off switches with the remote. I'll see if it holds up but it's good for now.

This does work on my TK21 even though it isn't listed as being compatible. It has to be screwed in very tight, but it does work

I haven't yet used this in a "need to use" application. I have only been fiddling around with it so far. The tape switch seems pretty solid. The light activates whenever the tape is depressed. The switch is made from silicon and when depressed, has a solid click to it no matter where it is depressed. The cap also has a mechanical switch that overrides the tape switch when it is activated. I thought the coil was going to be saggy, but it stays coiled and keeps the length of the cable at a minimum. For the price, purchasing it was a no brainer. Although this may see some weapon applications, I am looking to also use it for bike applications. I am thinking about mounting it on the grips in the area where my fingertips naturally lie.

Buy Fenix Remote Switch (TK12, TA20, TA21) Now

I originally bought this for use with a Fenix flashlight mounted on my shotgun with the 5598 NEBO PROTEC Universal Long Gun Light Mount, and it works well for that. However, I stopped using this remote switch for a couple of reasons:

1) It should have come with some way to mount it. I recommend using 3M's Command tape, which grips well and releases cleanly.

2) This remote switch takes a firm press to activate, and I find that distracting.

3) Fenix flashlights already have a momentary-on feature to their tailcap switches. By mounting my Fenix light slightly off center, I am able to touch my light's tailcap when my hand is on properly positioned on the forend. This gives me both momentary and full-on light without having to worry about the cord getting in the way or not having depressed the switch firmly enough.

If you need a remote switch for your Fenix light, this works exactly as advertised.

The switch does everything it should. I have it paired with a tk15. BUT finding a mount is much more difficult than with other switches.

Want Fenix Remote Switch (TK12, TA20, TA21) Discount?

Got this to go with my Fenix TA21 Level 225 Lumen Tactical LED Flashlight.

I wasn't expecting there to be an on / off switch on the tail cap replacement as well as the momentary activation pad.

I'll add a few pics of the cord and light mounted on my M4 real fast for a visual aid.

5/5 Got what I ordered.

Critter Spray Products 22032 118SG Siphon Gun

Critter Spray Products 22032 118SG Siphon Gun
  • Compressor-mounted spray gun kit; requires 3 cfm at 90 psi
  • Attaches to Mason jars filled with paints, stains, lacquers, and more
  • Comes with glass Mason jar, metal spray gun, and stainless steel tube
  • Includes siphon gun, tube, 16-ounce Mason jar, jar gasket, and instructions; compressor not included (3/4-horsepower minimum)
  • Fits standard 16-ounce Mason jar--easily adaptable to fit other jars

As a woodworker, I have been using the Critter Spray Gun for a few months now. It does a great job on small to medium sized projectssmooth finish, very easy cleanup.

As with most every spray gun, even professional guns, the media being sprayed will usually need to be thinned to some degree; this gun is not any different. I have not used it for spraying latex paint, but I would expect it to do a fine job after diluting the paint with water.

Two things are very important to me as a craftsman: after working for weeks on a project, I need to apply a smooth even finish. With a little practice, the Criiter will provide this. The second desired feature, is to have an easy cleanup, so that I don't hesitate because of fear (laziness)to use the tool. Again, this sprayer is the easiest cleanup of any sprayer that I have used. The ability to store, and have ready, my finishes is a big bonus.

This is not the type of spray gun that someone would use to paint a room, but for a door, railings, and furniture, it will do what you expect it should do.

The Critter gun is a superb choice for most small to medium jobs that would ordinarily require a spray can or brush. This gun works great for spraying finishes on woodwork, patio furniture, etc. Easy to use and clean up. I highly recommend it.

That said, now for my gripes. There is one design flaw that is particularly annoying. In their infinite wisdom, the folks at Critter decided to paint the frame of the gun. Rule number 1: paint does not adhere to base metal alloys. The awful bluish paint on the zinc-alloy gun flakes off and gets everywhere. Its adhesion is so poor you can literally scratch it off with your fingernail. It contaminates your paint no matter how careful you are. My white enamel became a nice off-blue pastel color thanks to this. When you wipe down the gun with any petroleum-based solvent, the paint will smear. My advice: before using, soak the gun in a water-based paint stripper to remove the paint. Paint guns should not be painted. I shouldn't have to tell them that, but here I am anyway.

Another nit to pick is that with a jar attached, the gun tends to tip over, especially when the jar is nearly empty. The gun could have been balanced better. Fortunately the gun has a hook to hang it from when you are not using it.

One other thing (though not the fault of Critter) if you plan to shoot any solvent-based finish, be sure to get the Mason jars with the cork or fiber gaskets. The ones with the rubber seals will dissolve, leaving you with a sticky mess and contaminated finish.

Nevertheless, the gun works so well, I still gave it 4 stars. You just have to be aware of its flaws.

Happy spraying.

I have used this for all finishes from oil based interior and exterior primers, and interior and exterior latex. Thinning is required but the finish is superb. The cost, quick color changes, and ease of cleanup are great. It is a hassle working with the small jars but I mix enough for 2-3 jars. Then I'm good for 30 min of spraying. The other review about clogging was all wrong. The problem was in the paint not the Critter. When it clogs it means the paint needs thinning or straining. Old unstrained paint clogs any sprayer!

Want Critter Spray Products 22032 118SG Siphon Gun Discount?

A friend had one of these we used it to paint some trim and molding pieces for a room in the house and I was blown away with its simplicity and quality. So, I bought one! It works great using my cheap little pancake compressor.

Some tips:

when using latex paint be sure to use some Floetrol (available at Home Depot) to condition the paint. This makes for a glass-smooth surface.

fiddle with the air pressure before painting. Lower pressures work best for me on most materials.

strain the latex paint first to avoid clogs and "boogers" that mar your surface.

strongly consider buying the maintenance kit, including the short tube. We spent hours trying to find a substitute spring after it went down the drain while cleaning. The short tube works well in the smaller Mason jars.

buy some spare CORK gaskets at a hardware store or canning supply store. They will not tear easily like the paper gasket included, and will not melt like the rubber gaskets do.

I bought this spray gun a while back hoping it would be a good alternative to hvlp conversion guns that usually require an expensive and large air compressor. Fortunately it has fulfilled my expectations and has been a very worthwhile purchase.

At first I thought it would give me a very bad orange peel finish, but after using it mostly with latex house paint properly thinned out, I have yet to see an awful finish from this sprayer. Although I personally haven't used it spray solvent based liquid with it, I'm sure that it would be able to achieve an even greater finish than with the thick latex house paint used.

Another great thing about this sprayer is that it doesn't take alot of air to run it. Even a pancake compressor could run it if needed.

Although it is a nice sprayer, it does have a couple negatives. First, the paper gasket will eventually fall apart with use, but I tighten the lid real tight and it hasn't leaked yet with the paint I use (You can probably find a nitrile gasket that wont degrade like rubber at your local hardware store). Secondly, the balance of the sprayer causes it to fall to its side when not full of the material ( a minor nuisance but should be fixed). I recommend this product for spraying finishes on items such as furniture, doors, and windows; but definately not to paint a house because of its small spray pattern and paint cup capacity.

For those of you who wish to use this item for spraying latex remember to:

1. Use a latex thinning product such as floetrol as to not adversely affect the durability of the paint. If paint is neededed to be further thinned out, follow the paint manufaturers directions on using water to further thin.

2. Use a paint strainer to strain all paint and paint additives in order not to clog the sprayer and have an artifact free finish (Good practice with any sprayer).

3. Play with the air pressure on compressor (not to exceed 75 psi)and air nozzle on sprayer until you get a smooth finish.

Highly recommended product!

Speedway 8550 8-Gallon Air Compressor

Speedway 8550 8-Gallon Air Compressor
  • 8 gallon tank; Solid cast iron cylinder/durable steel air intake filter
  • 15.5 amps; 1.5 HP; 3360 RPMs
  • 115 PSI; 5 CFM @ 90 PSI and 6 CFM @ 40 PSI
  • Cold start, twin capacity induction motor w/thermal overload protection

The compressor works well but not as described.

The good:

the compressor works like it should.

Pumps up and holds pressure.

Not so good:

The quick connect value leaks unless a male fitting is connected.

The shroud was broken and really lousy packaging ( almost destroyed packaging in shipping).

No hose or accessories included with the compressor as stated in description.

But after installing my hose and fitting it works fairly well. I could have brought this from harbor freight for less money ( live and learn )

I am very unhappy with it. First time my order was sent to a wrong address. When I finally got it was damaged with missing parts. I've return it. After that I've got my order and the box was all wet. The oil bottle broke and and all the oil liked out inside of the box. The description says 5 CFM @ 90 PCI. That is what I was actually looking for, but after getting the unit I've realized that it says 3.8 CFM @ 90 PCI on the label of unit. Total mislead of description. Should I send it back again?

Want Speedway 8550 8-Gallon Air Compressor Discount?

I ordered the 8850, but the one I recieved was model 38468. The description says 5 CFM @90, but the 38468 model has less CFM than that. The description says there is a hose. Mine did not come with a hose. I sent back the model back and told amazon customer service said they would investigate issue. I reordered and still got the same model 38648, but this one had 4.4 CFM @ 90 on the label. What I need amazon to do is fix the description, or ship by model 8550 with the advertised 5 CFM @ 90. It feels like someone has been deceitfull in this whole process, like they are selling other models than 8850. Am I missing something here??? I haven't got to the point of using the equipment...

I have now received two of these compressors, both with the regulator snapped off. I don't know if the actual compressor is any good since I can't seem to get one that isn't damaged on arrival. I'm going to find another compressor and hope to find better luck.

Be warned, the description for this regulator states It has a maximum input pressure of 250 PSI but when I received it, the box states the maximum input pressure is 150 PSI. I called Campbell Hausfeld directly and they said the box is correct, and that they need to update their description of the item. This looks to be Cambell Hausfelds fault as every place I found this regulator on the web had the incorrect description "From the Manufacturer".

Of the Campbell Hausfeld filters & lubricators I wanted a blue set but this product was the only combined "set" I found. I figured blue, black, whatever but when I got it in the mail, it in fact was a blue set. Bottom line, I wanted an air filter, regulator, lubricator kit for my air compressor and this fits the bill perfectly. The only thing I noticed when I installed this and filled it with oil for use is that my air compressor already has a regulator on it at the hose connection and the two regulators are about 5 PSI different. When the regulator on my air compressor is set at 90PSI, the regulator on this combo is only reading 85PSI. So I just bumped the air compressor up to 95PSI in order to get a 90PSI reading on the combo set. I figure it's only 5PSI and within the range of the tools I have for no big issues. I still highly recommend this product.
