I love this little hot dog!!! its the perfect size to be able to fit on the shelf in my van and not take up valuable space on the floor like my twin tank did. Its 150 psi!!! this thing is perfect for all finish guns but has enough guts for a framing nailer or fence/siding nailer as well. Now, I wouldn't use this all day framing a house but for the smaller jobs where you want to break out the big gun for a bit, its perfect. One of the biggest pluses is that because its a 150 psi, the cut in switch kicks the motor back on when the tank gets down to about 110 psi or so. So when you're using a framing gun or siding nailer, you won't get that last couple of weak shots before it kicks back on again. It fills up nice and quick too. I like this one much better than the pancakes. The last small "finish compressor" I had was this wierd little bostich one and it was cool because it was really light and really quiet but it would get down to about 70-80psi before it kicked on again and that sucked when using my siding gun... and forget about using a framing gun with that.

I plan on rigging up some straps to this so I can carry it on my shoulder like a tool bag.

Selected this compressor because wt. & shape made it the lightest by over 25% of others in same capacity range. (24 lbs., the most I wanted to hump up and down stairs.) Product reviews were generally good, although there were a fair amount of lemons being sold or an equal amount of incompetent users. It also maintains a higher psi than others in the range, giving me greater flexibility with my Hitachi nailer. Not terribly noisome, as I understand the flat tank models are. And Rockwell Porter Cable have done well for me over many years.

I wanted to build an air compressor out of parts that had come mostly from other compressors that I had had over the years, I wanted a gas engine powered compressor, so I took the tank and the pump and located a proper sized gas engine and built a deck to bolt to the tank and then bolted the pump and the motor on to the deck, using this Unloader to regulate the pressure building in the tank, for a continuous run unit the unloader works like the pressure switch on an electric motor compressor. it controls the air going into the tank or lets it exit to the atmosphere,

one still wants to use a safety relief valve as well, I also added the throttle control as well that when the unloader says the compressor is full, it lets the engine go to a idle until air is called for again an then it speeds up the engine and fills up the tank, '

It works well and even on a small tanked electric compressor it will let the motor keep running and not on on and off, I had an unloader on a compressor I used in construction and had both a unloader and pressure switch and by switching to by pass the pressure switch the the unit would then run with the unloader for operations that would cause the motor to rapidly start and stop, it worked well for some operations, (would use it for nailing roof and floor decks)

Well surely not what I expected when I ordered. Amazon DESCRIPTION STATES: GFCI plug protects users from electrical shock in wet or humid environments.

So here I am, wondering if I will keep it, use it or return this. I use ONLY Tripp Lite for every single outlet inside our home for surge protection. I love the company. But I bought this to run 2 outdoor Large water fountains and now am not sure how to proceed. I called their customer service phone number (NOT an 800 number by the way). But was rewarded with an AMERICAN voice who explained to me the power strip needs to be "enclosed" to be safe. Kind of defeats the "GFCI plug protects users from electrical shock in wet or humid environments" claim. Most likely I will keep this as it is extremely heavy duty structurally (NO surge protection either but never claimed to have that).

GFCI protection is needed around water. Very nice power strip. Tripp Lite makes excellent products. I would highly recommend. 12 Foot cord great.

The power strip handles act as a cord wrap, which is a nice bonus. Does the job, really tough unit. Nice to have a GFCI in it.

In my old house I needed to get power to different rooms. An electrician showed me that the wiring in our home was old and not capable to support providing power for all of the devices (laptop, TV, monitor, video game console, etc). Some of our wiring was replaced by the electrician (aluminum is now copper). I feel that this part would be an aftermarket part, but not for sure since it only showed up in a little bubble wrap. I had to use emery cloth on the shaft, and the hole for the shaft. Easy to do, just a little time consuming.

I did eventually get the part on, and the air compressor works like it should.

I bought a cheap air tank at Harbor Freight. The hose on that was very thin and the chuck was plastic with a lever on it. I never could get that thing to work properly. I decided to try replacing the hose with this one. It was a great idea. It attached no problem and it's now so easy to fill the tires. Just push it on, no more wrestling with that junky plastic one.

Bought this air pump hose with ball chuck from amazon third-party marketplace seller ToolsNow for two bucks plus shipping for a total of a little over seven bucks. Got this hose as a replacement hose to put on our Black & Decker Air Station pump for putting air in car tires. The original hose had a plastic air valve, with a lever on it, that finally broke after years and years and years of use. So, purchased this one where the air valve is that "ball chuck" that doesn't have a flip lever to lock in place on the tire. You just hold it in place on the tire. Just like some of the tire air pump hoses at gas stations. Wanted this type because it shouldn't break. And it works. The only issue is after you are done, you may want to press in the pin on inside of the ball chuck to release the air. The air that is left in the hose (after pumping air into the tire) should release slowly by itself, but you could use one of your tools to press the pin in to quickly release the air and that way the gauge of your air pump will go back down to zero. And there are zero problems with this air pump hose with the ball chuck. Very much worth getting.
