puchased this compressor after my cheap portable one finally went out. came in very good packaging and everything work exactly as advertised. only downside is for some of the items you plug into it deplete the compressor rather quick and understandably the tank is small. the only reason it gets 4 stars is for the amount of time it runs to build up pressure... other than that a great thing to have in an average garage.

I had an Aztek airbrush that I could never get to work right. Bought this one after considering the Iwata trigger model.

Much better price on the Grex and their service is excellent. I own their air nail guns too.

The trigger is definitely a plus. Due to a shaky hand, I couldn't control the button style DA and get any decent paint flow. Now this one has me doing everything I always dreamed of.

Easy to load and easy to clean. I even use cheap craft paints in it with good results.

This unit is much more quiet than a Whytner I had that leaked all over. It is also cools much better and does not leak. I would give this product a 5 star rating but for the window vent kit. First, it will extend to about 49 inches but there are 4 sections that you must use. This makes the panel very flimsy. Three sections are more than adequate. That was the only good part about the Whytner in comparison. Second, either the vent tube should have been made with a diameter 1/2 inch less or the vent kit panel should have been made 1/2 inch wider. When you attach the hose to the panel you have to move the panel away from the inside of the window for it to fit because the tube does not clear the inside of the window frame. Use a lot of duct tape. I hope this made sense.

Used less than one year and it worked great last summer,then carefully rolled into a spare bedroom for winter storage. BUT just like other reviewer, set it up for this summer and no cool air at all! Called LG and a week later repairman came out to tell me it has internal leak and not repairable! Lucky for me, my warantee had two more weeks. LG service contacted me within a day and will give refund after I return unit to them. They do not have one in stock to send replacement. Service good but product is junk.

do not buy this. i had mine for less then a year. i used it for 1 summer and it worked great and next summer the compressor is shot.it dont blow cold air and makes so much noise that you would think there is a truck running in the room. and as for the lg repair service that is junk too. the repair man said it was fine meanwhile it was blowing warm air and leaking all over the floor and sounds like a truck. now the warranty is out and out on the curb it is going

LG may may decent products, but heaven forbid you should need to get service. I have a relatively new (still under warranty) room A/C which has stopped cooling. After almost an hour on the phone with a tech who could barely speak English, he referred me to the (only) service center in the area, which is closed for the next 10 days (6/28 to 7/8). So beware that the service network for LG is paper thin compared to most established appliance man'f in the US, and should you need service be prepared to be without your product for weeks. Really great if you need an A/C fixed in the summer.

I received this last year (2011), purchased from Home Depot and used it for a full month and half until a part broke down and the unit stopped blowing cool air. LG honored the warranty as the replacement part was backordered and they sent me a new unit. Since the process took so long, I received the new unit in the winter, hence no real use.

Summer of 2012, begin using the new replacement unit. Works great for one month. Then the same issue...cooling part breaks and is on back order. LG granted me a warranty extension, but now the replacement part is still on back order after 1.5 months and LG wants me to wait for the part or have the third-party company verify they contacted LG for the part. LG will not do this themselves (they are the ones that recommended the third-party company to fix unit) and I'm playing phone tag. Third-party company servicing the unit says they received the incorrect part and needs to wait another 3-4 weeks. LG says to find out with the third-party company the order number and let them know the details and they will determine what to do from there. An here, it looks like I won't have it back for use again until this fall.

This is NOT reliable. Both the original unit and replacement unit had the same main cooling component fail after 1-2 months of use. Now i'm without a room AC unit and out $500.

DO NOT BUY.

UPDATE: I'd like to give this ZERO stars, but it's not avail. I tried posting this same review on the LG website and it got rejected. Surprise surprise. No wonder the reviews on the LG website have this product rated at 4/5 stars when here on Amazon it's 1-2 stars.

I got this for my central air conditioner. It was completely worthless. The comb did not fit into the fins well and did nothing to straighten them.

The teeth are stainless steel and set right next to each with no spaces if the slide is all the way forward. Pull the slide back and the teeth accomodate various fin spacings. Because the teeth are steel, not plastic, I recommend this tool over most of the other ones I've seen available on line. Don't expect it to do the impossible (straighten an area that badly bent) and you'll like it too.

I hate our reliance on PRC for, well, just about everything these days, it seems.

Anyway, I'm surprised by all the good reviews of this kit. The tire pressure gauge only goes to 40 PSI and is flimsy and inaccurate. It went right in the trash. Useless. The quick-connect couplers thread *very* poorly on my excellent Goodyear 3/8" hose. This results in leakage. Lots of it. And all the teflon tape in the world doesn't help. The blower gun does what it should, but boy is it flimsy. As for the plethora of other attachments... meh. I doubt I'll ever use most of them.

If I were to do this over again, I would buy just one quality brass quick connect socket for attaching tools. For the other end of my hose I'd buy one male plug to connect to my compressor's quick connect socket. Then I'd get a blower tool and an inflation tool with built-in gauge. (FWIW I just got the "ARB ARB605 Blue Inflator with Gauge and Braided Hose" from amazon, and it is excellent. 5 stars for that gem.)

So, my advice is to skip this kit. It's garbage and has a lot of stuff you'll probably never use.

Oh, lest anyone think I just don't know how to attach a coupler to a hose, I picked up a good one at the local auto parts store and it works perfectly. No leak, simple to attach tools.

I just bought a compressor and needed fittings. This kit fit the bill perfectly. All fittings are of good quality and the kit contains everything you might need to outfit a compressor and plenty of air tools. The only negative is the quick connects. You can't just plug a nipple into them. You must first release the lock and then insert the nipple.

Did not like it and hence returned it.

Quality not great. More like a toy then a tool.

Again it comes down to what can you expect in this low price.

I bought this at a really low price, and didn't expect too much out of it. I mainly just wanted the air gun, and was happy to get a few extra pieces.

Unfortunately, the air gun "leaked". Without depressing the trigger, it would blow a light stream of air. This would cause my small 1 gallon, 1HP compressor to take a very long time to charge, and to discharge even more rapidly. Also, one of the quick connect coupler's ball bearings fall out when switching tools. It works fine when only one falls out. But leaks very bad when the second and/or third BB falls out. The other quick connect coupler works fine. All the non-movable parts work fine.

So, maybe you'll get lucky and have everything work. I wouldn't buy this again, but still got most of my money's worth because it was so cheap.

Product is fine if you want to use as tire pump for a couple of bikes. However, it does not seem to be able to do much more than that. The pump runs very hot after only 10 minutes
